Both FFK and Reno are very close friend of Mr Jonathan Only God knows the kind of advise they rendered to him,so these men knows the truth, yet they come out every time to go against PMB,why the hatred for the northerners,we always see nothing good in the Hausas ,can you imagine just because of the inclusion of Hausa language on Facebook which did not just happened and Mark Zuckerberg visit ,these two gentle men and a close associate of Johnathan started throwing punches on them selves,i bursted into a big laugh seeing Mr Reno Bible quote just because of this baseless argument ,yet he comes out every day to criticize PMB just because of hatred , can't the Bible study be used to address PMB matter. These are men who had been in government for a very long time, cant they come out with a solution base articles, tweets , posts for the government and to address the state of the country rather than this shit , Mark came for business and these men carry Hausa language on Facebook for head . The current state of the country is not because of the lack of skills nor lack of economy management of this present administration, its basically what we caused by ourselves, mono economy administration we have been practicing over the decades ,PMB didn't caused the drop in oil price ,militant agitations etc ,I stand to be corrected Johnathan won't have escaped this economy collapse if he is the current president and the Niger Delta continue their demand for the state of Biafra under his watch. God Bless Nigeria #ANewNigeria #ANewNation |

[quote author=finalboss post=48975315]last night Femi Fani-Kayode wrote a piece about US secretary of state John Kerry and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg's visit to Nigeria & how it has something to do with the Hausas. He wrote; "Kerry comes to the north and sees the Sultan of Sokoto, northern governors and Buhari. One week later Facebook founder comes to Nigeria and says Hausa is a "unique language" which he has included on Facebook. Think Nigerians think". Hours later, former presidential aide Reno Omokri reacted to FFK's comment. He wrote; FFK responded to Reno Omokri [i]Nice to hear from u. Permit me to begin by saying that I never miss ur write-ups and I thank God that we still have people as discerning and as bold as u in our country. Pls keep it up. Now to the business of the day. Thanks for taking your time to respond to my post. Perrmit me to respond to you very briefly. What Mark Zuckerberg said about the Hausa language being "unique" is not a fact but an opinion. And it is an opinion which, in fairness to him, may well be honestly held. It is also an opinion which you evidently share and which both u and he u are perfectly entitled to. I am, however, entitled to disagree with u on that opinion especially where I have good reason to do so. You see unlike most I do not post, speak or write lightly. I take my time, I do my research and I am very precise. That is my style and nature. The choice of hausa being put on Facebook is not just a matter if "linguistic uniqueness" I assure u. And to honestly believe that it does borders on pure naivety. There is nothing unique about the number of coutries in west Africa that speak Hausa and I do not believe that Hausa is the most widely spoken language in west Africa though many often say it is. It is rather like the common refrain that the hausas number more than any other nationality in Nigeria . Lols! It's obvious dt FFK is suffrng from ORUBEBETIS... |

Oluwabusobomi:I am only shocked at how rotten some human minds can be. You are free to join him in harbouring deep seated ethnic hatred all over your soul, next time Mark Zuckerberg or any other non-Nigerian says something patronising about Hausas, you are free to rush out in public cutting yourself with a sharp objects because you hate Hausas so much. I'm keen to know how that eventually helps your overall well-being on the long run. |

FFk would have had a good argument to some extent with some of his points if he hadn't make use of insulting words. As a yoruba man, I detest the Hausa people because they are too aggressive and always result to fanatical killings all in the name of religion and other difference just like FFK had pointed out. However, the Hausa language is one very unique language in the sense that is it about the only indigenous language that has some level of appreciable language structure (unlike the yoruba language and the Igbo language) and therefore, the Hausa language is more appreciated internationally, for example, the Hausa language has a term for male and female “ki and ka” which I don't think the other two major language has. I also do think the Hausa language is more spoken especially in sub-saharan Africa or let's say West Africa than the Yoruba and Igbo language or any other so to say. In another dimension, the west(Europe and America) have always aligned themselves with the north for selfish and exploitative reasons. The North right from history have always held the white in high regard and almost without much questioning of their(the west) authority. As such, it is not a surprise if the trend continues, after all, the world is ruled by history. My verdict: FFK really need to grow up. Reno should continue his civil approach of argument, but should have his facts right next time before arguing especially when arguing with someone like FFK! |

codemaniacs:I believe we are making the same point. FFK has points, good points as I have said. He just needs to watch his terms next time. If it were an official debate, FFK would have lost out only because he wasn't civil. It was however clear that Reno lacks historical knowledge. In such argument, you don't just base your points on Christian values and bible teachings alone. Facts win arguments, not values |

for me o, the problem is not the addition of Hausa language on face, but my own concern is, Hausa people find it very difficult to speak n read English now is it the native language now that is more difficult than English that they can read n write on facebook. no p she, the deal has been done already, we are here to watch the drama now on facebook. chikina. |

Classic FFK....brash for no good reason, but in the end he still misses the entire point of Reno's assertion. Meanwhile, those two are busy exchanging words over what Zuckerberg said, whereas Zuckerberg has long since moved on from that chapter. Probably does not even remember when he said that or why he said it. And certainly does not even know who those two are. |

why is it that most people from SE/SS support FFK? is it how low you people think.... I always believe you people are better than this. You people should have learn your lesson from the last presidential election. you should remember how FFK comments contribute to JEG downfall. |

And remember Fani vituperative bulls***** on Chinua Achebe when he rejected the national honor Obasanjo wanted to give him to protest what was happening at Anambra then? He didn't remember then that he and Chinua Achebe were from the south, and in the south we were taught to respect our elders. Take anything he says serious at your peril. |

codemaniacs:The point being made here is that an American (Mark Zuckerberg) innocently said hausa language was unique, and voila! just out of the blue, FFK starts foaming in the mouth vomiting unprovoked, needless ethnic/religious hate speeches about how Hausa is this and that and how the Americans are conniving with the Hausas to undermine the southern Nigeria... Like for real, do you mean to tell me you see nothing wrong in such anti-social behaviour?... Were all those statements by FFk warranted by the innocent statement of Mark? |
