searchiing4love: Restructuring is not the solution but the present status quo. Restructuring is a cunny attempt by easterners to achieve biafra and it won't happen. History tells us Ojukwu was able to instigate the civil war because he was the head of Eastern region. If we go back to regionalism, non-entities like Nnamdi kanu will rise again and start pushing for biafra which is a bad omen for Nigeria. No part of the country must be allowed to split for no reason. Lord Luggard was an intellectual when he merged us together. There is strength in unity. Let's keep maintaining the present federal system till the Igbo's are patriotic enough to forget biafra You are Funny because you can't force people to be together It is their right and also guaranteed in the UN charter moreover the happenings in Nigeria doesnt depict that they are living in Unity your statements alone shows it. Each time excuses are given for the composition of this present govt I wonder if the country hasnt been divided already along ethnic lines |

Are you ashamed and afraid that you will die if Biafra cease to be among Nigeria , those of you masturbating over Biafra issues are displaying their foolishness and sub human life of depending on better human (Biafrans ) to survive. searchiing4love: Restructuring is not the solution but the present status quo. modath: Massob & other groups have been going about their call in tandem with global best practices till this new guy emerged with his brand of bile..
This time 2014, did we have same situation? Where were they all these while? We all know how things went down & what precipitated this new wave of "anger"
It's the same people that were shouting GEJ or death that transmuted to Biafra or death, It's hard to adopt another stance in the face of such glaring evidence...
P.S... Are you truly "f" or the usual NL kind? The worst lie is that against self. Or perhaps you are reacting out of ignorance and that is why you should resort to research as you were instructed |

TruthisGOD: The counter summary of your post is that restructuring will make the governors to sit up. The ripple effects of restructuring will be that the elected governors will venture into productive means of boosting the revenue and economy of their states since free allocation will no longer be forthcoming. The electorate will learn to elect credible and creative leaders since is no longer bussiness as usual. States will be forced to explore, exploit and consequently harness both their natural and human resources. Agitation will stop, pipeline bombing in a bid to pass a message to FG will stop. The potential of every region will manifest. The North will embark on aggressive agriculture production to boost their economy. The West the same coupled with education. The East, trade, science and technology invention will manifest. I fear for SS, they will be rich no doubt but their will be chaos, instability and bloodshed intially since most of their politician will vie for political post because of the free oil money. However, with time the peaceful and progressive development of their counterparts will make their govenors to sit up. Finally, restrusturing will bring about a healthy competition that will translate into massive socio- economic development in addition to strong democratic system. its rather d other way round!that we can mk this system work, rather than clamouring for restructuring! |

Shewunoshewa: That fellow is a northerner - a parasitic lunatic!
No sane Yoruba will spew such crap. I guessed as much. Believe u me my guy, if ur people (d yorubas) and my people (d igbos) can work 2geda, we would send those parasitic lots to the back of the line where they truly belong. They killed igbos for oil and killed yorubas because of a presidency clearly won by abiola. They even took our capital from south west to north citing frioulous reason dat lagos was saturated (as if london or rome or paris isn't). We can't keep alowing ourselves to be divided by fulanis. Those guys eh... |

Any restructuring that leads to the ND people having a total control of their natural resources is most welcome. I believe neccessity is the mother of invention, other geopolitical regions will brace up and get creative. It may surprise us that the Hausas/northerners some of us so wish to see suffer might end up turning out groundnut pyramids once again. |

Justiyke4u: Why are people so afraid of restructuring this country Simple. Those who keep controlling the centre will lose power, influence & most importantly oil wells & oil money. And guess what: the controllers are also those with the power to restructure. Will a hawk give up the chick in its claws easily? |

Those guys eh... We all need to speak with one voice and keep up the pressure. If the economy doesn't improve, PMB will just have to cave in whether he likes it or not. Who knows? Maybe all this is happening so that the call and basis for restructuring will be louder and solider than ever so that we can achieve it. With a restructured Nigeria, we shall be like China in no time. |
