I'm really surprised at the comments of a lot of people here.... Yes the man was stupid and had a lapse in judgment that unfortunately led to his death but what about the wicked danfo driver or conductor who wickedly pushed him away from the moving vehicle even when he knew they were the ones at fault and also knowing fully well that it was very dangerous esp with other moving vehicles around? That's murder or manslaughter at the very least and they should be punished seriously for it. No one has told us or talked about what happened to them. I do hope they were caught and seriously dealth with so others can learn from their lesson. If not there ll never be a change in this country. How can they do that and we are here blaming only the man for his admittedly stupid mistake and temporary lapse in judgment? I want to assume it was temporary as I EXPECT and HOPE (LOL) that a man of his caliber would have eventually come back to his senses if given just a bit more time to live.

There's more to this than meet the eyes. There is a spiritual angle to the whole issue. So the man left his car, removed his shoe and started chasing moving commercial vehicle, the guy must have watched an American movie the night before, so he was trying to replicate what the protangonist in the movie did.
Why can he chase the commercial driver with his own car, I'm sure he will definitely catch up with him if he had done that. Look at what he has done to his family. He has turned his wife to a widow and render his child(ren) fatherless.

Anyways, RIP to him.

If we keep letting go there will be no sanity on our roads anymore because I can just hit you and I know you will let go

Some people are just too funny...they gamble with their life, a man did something similar last month in PH, close to my hood and the taxi driver bashed him to a poll, he died instantly and the guy drove off.

That's what happens when there is functional insurance regulations in a country of the blind like Nigeria. All vehicles should have a minimum of third party insurance before they are allowed on the road and insurance must be compelled by law to pay out in the event of accidental damages.

Its not every action dat we must get a reaction from us....c how he died for nothing.....d car now another WD inherit it...his life gone jus for what he cld av overlooked...moreover he left Ppl at home saying bye....now where do dey start...me o av told hubby no b everything u go shout.....jus pass....devil dey use Ppl well so jus avoid some things....even if he had caught d driver,Na begging for sort am but he ddnt hav d chance to be begged

I must say, Lagos state government seems to have a pact with them danfos drivers....they drive anyhow...flout traffic rules bash...scratch and do all sort of things to private cars....yet they get away with it.....if enforcement officials do nothing about them. Yet they terrorise private car owners. The danfos are always saying....'awon my car yii....lo ma suffer if I bash them'. As for the man that died....yes he could have let the danfo go away....buh who knows...whether he has had previous incidents like dat.....economy is bad...thinzz ain't working well.....maybe he just paid his children school fees then one useless danfor driver now bash him and was running away....people, abeg boone a true lagos G wey don face hard life for lagos go wan challenge the danfor driver....guess he was just unlucky..RIP. I blame BUHARI for this.
