5. Stronger currency and certainly a stronger economy
6. Lots of tourist flock into the country from all over the world
7. Social life is a lot more fulfilling
8. Citizens are a lot more urbane and civilized
9. Kenya Airways is without a doubt the Pride of Africa
10 They have a modern President who speaks the language of progressive minds.

Progress has nothing to do with the number of "Cambridge Trained" individuals in your domain; but the ability to use the accumulated knowledge for the benefit of society. Frankly speaking, what we have going for us is oil and nothing else.

I'm in my 40s. As I read this your post, from a culmination of arguments I've had on this topic, my eyes are watery - I'm holding myself from crying. NIGERIA IS LOST! Nigerians DO NOT KNOW where they are in the scheme of things. They've been deluded for so long that they're somebodies. I saw them in the UK and I avoided them. They move around with great arrogance that they're "too much". How can you ever fix your country when you don't even know the depth of misery you're in. The whole of Africa is backward anyway, so to even be comparing nations within Africa is painful enough for me. There are 54 countries in Africa. In terms of quality of life of the average citizen, "Giant of Africa" Nigeria is not amongst the top 20 IN AFRICA! That's not true; there is more to Kenya than Nairobi. Go to towns like Mombasa and see how they have been able to transform a moribund terrain into a tourist heaven. I am a nigerian and sees no reason for this unnecessary rivalry. FFK is always seen at the forefront of disunity and hate but my candid suggestion to FFK is that he should please bring all his family home to nigeria. all the children from first wife, second wife , third wife and the undisclosed. it will not be proper for FFK to desire nigerians disentigration, blood on the street on nigeria, preaching ethno religious hate messages and wisely or foolishly keeps his beautiful wives and children out of nigeria with dual citizenship. i wish that the heart desire of FFK comes to reality concerning disentigration of nigeria but he must first drop all his emergency travel documents so that when the fire starts burning all of us including FFK and all his family can be consumed all together because that is what he FFK desires. What will Nigeria use and conquer Kenya ? Their economy is more sophisticated, more diversified, though smaller. Their ICT sector is probably the best in Africa.
Their Currency is competing favourably with the dollar right now, and the standard of living is increasing steadily.

No , Nigeria is not better in all aspects . Kenya has more steady power supply, the corruption there is a child's play compared to what is in Nigeria. Nothing in Nigeria works and some things in Kenya work. We delude ourselves thinking we are the best in Africa but we definitely are not.
