Joseph Mucheru MBS is the current Kenyan Cabinet Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Communications. He is a former Google Sub-Sahara Africa Lead based in the Google Nairobi office. He was Google's first Sub-Saharan employee and was key to setting up of Googles presence in Africa from 2007.
Before joining Google he worked at Wananchi Online, a company he co-founded in 1999, in various roles at the company including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Executive Officer.

Honorable Adebayo Shittu, he gained admission into University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun south west, Nigeria in the year 1974. In 2011, He withdrew his gubernatorial ambition for the incumbent(2016) governor of Oyo State, senator Ajimobi Abiola. Presently(2016),the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari appointed him as the substantive minister of communication in Nigeria.

1. Nigeria doesn't have ICT minister and that is your Number 1 ignorance about your own country.

2. We have an agency in charge of ICT and Bunmi okunowo is the head of that agency in charge of our ICT regardless under what ministry.

3. Bunmi Okunowo is who Nigeria gave our ICT task to, he is who we are paying to lead our ICT efforts, he has the skills and ICT background to do the job hence our leading role in ICT all over Africa.

We already have a minister of information.

Therefore, a minister of Communications is obviously a minister of TeleCommunications infrastructure.

Now, what is the difference between That and ICT ?

The only you have illustrated here is that the current Nigerian government is too DUMB to realize and prioritize that Information Technology deserves a ministry of its own, with its own minister , its own budget and a solid ICT Blueprint for the future.
