I really love the way western education has turned things around. in the past, one can recall the Emir were not that really educated a d most of them barely understand politics . Fast forward to this century, one can fully see that difference between Emir of the past and that of the present. subsequently, apart of being the Emir, which attracts, some benefits from both government and indigenes, the man has accumulated wealth that can sustain him and his entire generation to come. well, in my own say, I strongly wish him well as he continue on his celebrity journey.

I.had high hopes that this man will change things in the north. He was clearly a humanist from his earlier writeup i read online but i cant express my shock when he betrayed everything a freethinking humanist stood for and except always vocally aknowledging the great northern radical scholar prof.bala usman.

That someone quotes Thomas Paine, Voltaire etc in his essays doesn't make one a "humanist" - whatever that means. He is a Muslim and a Fulani. Anyone can take from the works of philosophers to buttress a point, doesn't make the person a wholesale follower. If you expect him to drop his religion and tradition for Thoman Paine et al's "tradition", you're on a long thing.

Not sure how old you are. But Nigeria is a circular State governed by laws, not by culture. The penalty for the 60 year old Northern Muslim Paedophile sanusi for raping a 13 year old Christian child, Ese Oruru, is Life in prison both in Federal and in Beyalsa laws. Got it?

In addition, why did the Nothern Muslim, uncircumsized, raping a 13 yr old child for 8 months right inside his sex dungeoun called "emir palace" and preventing a 13 year old Christian chlld from going to school for 8 months while his own daughters are studing abroad?
