Man Who Named Pet Dog 'buhari' Names Newborn Daughter 'aisha'


Lawyer/Human Rights Activist, Inibehe Effiong (left) shared this interesting new update via his twitter page. Effiong was involved in the case of Joachim Iroko Chinakwe (right), who was was arrested when a neighbour filed a complaint against him for naming his dog 'Buhari'. See the tweets after the cut.

The man seems to be lost. First he names his dog after his "hero" Buhari ( how about Azikiwe, Ojukwu, Achebe, Okocha, etc,?)
Then he gives his daughter an Hausa name Aisha, after the wife of this same hero who kept mute while he he was in jail for 3days, for no justifiable reason.

From day 1, the story clearly stated that the neighbour was the one not comfortable with some one around him naming a dog his father's name.

They all claim that you can name the dog anything in the western world. They ignored the fact that in the Western World, you don't inscribe a name on both side of the dog. Infact that would be termed as an abuse.

This guy is just a trouble maker. It is as simple as that.

You know what Islam as a religion says about Dog. We must learn to respect people's religion. We don't have to believe in it.

We will not take it lightly if a Pig has prominent christian name inscribed on both sides.

The foolishness of the man even though not illegal can lead to senseless destruction of Life and Properties by the f00lish people that always want to fight on behalf of God.
