WHY DO WE PLACE LESS VALUE ON THE LIFE OF OUR NATIONAL HEROES. The soldiers were on an unauthorised trip. This is not a NA boat they were travelling in. No NA boat is underpowered. Indeed the fact that civilians were witnesses to it and tried done rescue confirms it. They left their posts without permission and commandeered a boat for a trip to Yenagoa. Might even very well be woman related trip or assignation.
HAVE U EVER BEEN TO RIVERINE AREAS WHERE SECURITY AGENTS ARE DEPLOYED? THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH LOGISTICS FOR THEM TO CARRY OUT ALL THEIR DAILY ACTIVITIES, THEREFORE THEY SOMETIMES MOVE AROUND IN SMALL LOCAL BOATS. THEY USE TO MOVE FROM ONE AREA TO THE OTHER THROUGH LOCAL BOATS, (AT TIMES, TO DEPLOY THEIR MEN SECRETLY IN SOME AREAS OR HIDE FROM THE ENEMY SPIES) BUT MY ANNOYANCE IS THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ON LIFE JACKETS ALWAYS AND I DO NOT THINK THAT THEY WERE PROVIDED WITH ANY.

Let's be honest here.

Buhari and Buratai are responsible for the death of these soldiers. In their quest to go after militants they failed to do the basic things. Clearly, tbe soldiers lacked adequate training. Heck, they cannot swim. The wrong boat was given to them. how about communication gadgets?

Life jacket would've kept them afloat in the event of a mishap. And if they had life jackets but for whatever reason failed to wear them then I wither for them. But then again, that's highly unlikely.

What of the so-called officers on trial now for selling arms to BH boys.They sold the ammunition because of women power too?

Why would they send soldiers into the creek without wearing life jackets? They don't care about the safety and well-being of the soldiers. The only thing they know is go to give instructions without giving the right tools.
