We decided on a quick one before she wakes up, but she woke up while we were still at it and was looking or rather trying to comprehend what was going on, I kept distracting her with bf, but she kept trying to know why dad was on mum. Suffix to say we had to end it there and then. She will be 1 in 3weeks time. #coversface #TickeledThursday

So I apparently live with an Interior Decorator, Because my little girl is constantly moving things around (we are looking for remote controls, ATM cards, a handset, some makeup, one or two earrings, one black wallet and some pencils. Please if you them, let me know).

Because of her decorating skills, I try and chase her away when I notice hwr moving towards my jewelry box. So this morning, I was drinking water and she realised it was her chance and went for it. Sharply I jumped at her
...and used my head to hit her wooden crib, spilled the water and then hit my mouth against the wooden frame of the bed. Now my mouth is swollen and the tooth there is wobbly and worse, my husband laughed and gave her the entire jewelry box to play it (he wanted his wallet back).

Sigh.

I had issues wt drying cos we were told at our weaning class in d hospital not to sundry but room dry so dt flies wld not perch on it n lay their eggs on it. it took a long time for it to dry n when I went to mill it d guy was still telling me dt it wasn't properly dry.

when I went for d next appointment of d weaning class, we were told dt recent research shows dt u can now mill into powder directly without going thru d process of fermenting so dts wat I'm doing now. how did urs go

So, concerning the book buy, Kidco has explained everything to me and here is what we discussed:

1. 50 books for N12,000
2. Shipping charges range from N700 to N1500 depending on your location
3. He can mix up the books according to age. So mamas, you can buy books in the age 0-5 years group, 0-3 years group, 6-12 years group, 0-6 years group

Yaba mums (rofemiguwa, Adeime, rhukie and cutiereborn), your total is N13,000 (12+N1000 shipping). You will end up paying N3,250 for 12-13 books per person. That's a good deal. If you agree, pls nominate one person from your group to collect payment and also collect the books from Kidco. May I suggest Rofemiguwa because she is working in Yaba which means her address is probably easiest to find for all of you?

We are so glad we have 2 duvets on the bed, so we spread it on the floor. No matter how fast she crawls to the edge, by the time she gets there we have rearranged ourselves. Or we relocate to the parlour like teenagers. But not on the sofa (in case anyone who reads this ever visits me and goes "ewwwww" inwardly when I say "please sit down" )

During diaper change this morning after exhausting the wipes I had brought out due to a massive poop, I reached to get more wipes with one hand whilst holding my son still with the other(he wriggles a lot)

He somehow manages to free his arm(I was holding all fours with one hand) and the next thing I saw was a diaper filled with shiiiiit flying across the room

I haven't rolled it up yet and the whole stinking pasty poop(sorryTMI) huhhhhhhhhhhhh arrrrrrrrggggggg! landed and splattered all over the floor

I screamed which made him startle and he started crying so loud I didn't know which to do first pacify him or just leave him to cry so I can clean up I just weak.... Ended up doing both same time

My baby is really young and haven't started playing tricks on me,cant wait for dt stage.
The one i can remember. She hasn't pooed for 3days after i shouted her that no money she wants to finish her second carton of huggies. By the third day i was begging her am sorry.i didnt mean it,she can finish everytin if she wants.
Later that evening mumsy removed her diaper for her freebum time. Immediately i lifted her up to play.she opened her fountain of poo and sprayed me graciously.hehehehehe. my sis was jus laughing.that is my punishment for shouting at her. mum said now am finally a now a mother.

Is it the smell? Is he formula fed?? Don't worry is normal with formula fed babies. My DD own is mosquito repellent, the smell is choking. As far as he's not constipated, don't worry. Hope this helps. Other sabi mamas can help too.

That's what I did with my first 2 and exactly what i'm doing now with my baby. I have never given cereals in the night, I give d last meal 9pm to 9:30pm after that na bf. Me cannot come and kill myself

Yes. But know this, if he ate very well during the day, he's not hungry but it is a habit. It is hard to accept and everyone told me this but I am just finally breaking our habit at 15 months. If you know he's eating well, give him water when he wakes up. A lot of times, once babies realise there is food at a particular time they will tune their bodies to it. Once he stops realising no more midnight snack and yummy breastmilk, he will adjust himself. But the problem is that you will feel it is not time, that "oh the poor darling must be starving" (I did all that too). When I was determined to sleep at night I started saying "No" and she screamed me all over. Then the crying started reducing and now she wakes up and goes back to sleep herself (after locating me and lying down on top of one part of my body, leg, head, back, anywhere). If I had the willpower i would have listened to everyone and I would have been sleeping at least 5 hours uninterrupted since 10 months.

Please a few questions for those who have had or know someone close who has had pre-term babies or multiples with low birth weight:

●How many weeks gestation period where they born?

●How long after were they discharged from hospital and how much did they weigh?

●What diapers and size did you use?,

●Did they fit well?

● how readily avaialble were preemie diapers? (especially for those in nigeria)

●And how long did you have to "manage" till they fit properly.
