Samsung Note 3 (used) or new Camon C9,
I need an honest advice, disadvantages in for me in both are, I have my reservations for China phones as regards to Camon C9 and it's span, in Samsung, the thought of the screen problem is scary as the price of changing a screen if it has any issues is too much. I have S3 with bad screen I dumped because the price of changing the screen is almost the same as getting another S3, Please help a brother out in making a better choice, don't ignore thread please

provided the Note 3 is free from defects and battery issues, I will choose it ten times over. At least am sure am covered in software area thanks to the xda guys. But thanks to C10, you are sure to be abandoned by Tecno and after use value will drop faster than the naira

Used Samsung note 3 over brand new Camon C9! The Note series are awesome...I'm still rocking my note 2 since 2012. I neva change even ordinary battery just the earpiece & charger in 4 years. Hoping to get a note 7 in 2017

Camon run OS is 6.0 with 4G which will work in Nigeria and if you are buying samsung note 3 please go for international version reason been that branded phones like t-mobile,at&t and others 4G LTE will not work in Nigeria. Samsung note 3 is beta but an old phone you will not get any official software expect for customs OS. If you are not interested in customs OS i will advice you go for camon reason because its a new phone far better than used phone or refurbish phones. u might b lucky to get 7.0 update for camon which i dont think so. One of the reason why i dont like dose tecno its family. Goodluck!

IMHO buy the note 3 and forget about the camon. The camon might be a newer device but i have used a note 3 and that device is awesome also has a very good camera. And who is that saying you have to get a tmobile, At&t or Verizon version to get 4g/lte. Thats note true. Because note 3 has two types of international variant. N900 (3g model) and N9005 (4g/lte model) and it works in Nigeria. Avoid buying branded unlocked devices ie sprint, att, Verizon. Just try and get the N9005.

I appreciate, I do not compare them, I knew Note 3 was better but I am only considering the pros of New Camon and cons of Used Note3

LTE frequency brand 8(20) is not always included but T-Mobile lg v10 has brand 20. In summary, when you are buying used phone with LTE make sure you verify its LTE specification.

The Telecommunications networks lock the phones to their network so other network's sim cards can't work on it eg how an Airtel modem can't work with an MTN Sim.
They can be unlocked though to work on all networks.

Also, they restrict some bands most especially LTE bands.
For example, the international version of the S5 can work on literally all LTE bands, but if you buy a T-Mobile version it will be locked to the AWS band (RF band 25) so if you unlock it and insert a different Sim that doesn't use the same band eg T-Mobile (or Ntel) it won't get 4G service.
Technically, that can also be solved ie you can make your phone work with all frequency bands

my S3 is working using to answer calls and plays music but no use without screen, what do you want in the phone

How can I get that battery bro?

I had a delimma like yours back in December 2015,new Gionee M5 or used Note 3..I ended up with the Note 3 and have not regreted it EVER..don't get decieved,the Note 3 is still a CRACKING phone miles ahead of ANY Tecno product and with Lollipop and removal battery it still gets you covered for the foreseeable future..just make sure you thoroughly inspect the device before purchasing and with at least a week's guarantee from the seller..

Guess what? You can actually afford an andriod phone with 5.5inch at a price btw 19500 naira to 20500 naira . this is typical of it1551. my itel 1551 has proven so far to be reliable whenever I call on it

If you're a moderate phone user that doesn't do things like custom Roms, phone updates, etc. Just go for c9 coz it has less risks and you're assured of warranty.

Anyway both are good phones. If u choose to buy the note 3 make sure its from a trusted seller with a receipt coz u may be buying a stolen item.
