Let me educate the op why we need Biafra and quickly

1. Biafra offers us immense opportunity to create a country with top class infrastructure like road, broadband, power, the smaller a country the easier to provide such infrastructure

2. Total control of the fiscal and monetary policy of our country means we can create a Caribbean style tax haven if we like. We have the human resources to do that and the diaspora population to make it work

3. We can create all types of companies backed up by government to provide all kinds of service around the globe most especially in Africa. Think nollywood as a small example. I know a lot of igbo artisans, engineers, chemist, doctors, accountants, software engineers etc currently unemployed but waiting for the opportunity to blossom.

4.we can create a world class health service from where we can export world class health professionals around the world.

5. We can win the world cup because we drive each other to be the best.

In one of the videos of Nnamdi KANU soliciting for help from Igbos in America, a man challenged him and said, "all politics is local"
Everything you have put up there is falacy and falls into the same APC excuse making theory.

1) Nothing stops any state from building world class health centres today so saying you are waiting for Biafra is a lie.
2) Different state governments can create any kind of companies they want, they can woo any investor they want, so the waiting for Biafra is a lie.

Some years back, non Abia indigenes were fired from the state civil service, even Lagos hasn't tried that, yet you believe the South East is one?
Or is it the case of Anglican church vs Catholic during Enugu state election?
Or the case of the appointment of a bishop in one diocese ( can't remember the name) that is causing issues?

Dude please, the Biafra thing is just an excuse for intellectually lazy people to blame their failures on something/ someone else.

Health care system is different from health centres.
Health care system is created by a country with rules, guidelines, specifications to deliver top quality healthcare to the masses.
Nigeria unfortunately doesn't have a health care system.
To create a health care system, requires joined up national planning.
I don't have time to educate you.

Biafra is a political facade used to instigate violence and chaos in the midst of peace loving igbos.
My grandmother told me that a child who hasn't witnessed war does not waste time to pull off his clothes even when the fight hasn't started.
Igbo youths are clamoring for war on the basis of sovereignty because most of them didn't witness the civil war. .
If "we" can be able to do away with corrupt politicians in the eastern States, we can always attain any height in the political hemisphere.
It's not about biafra, it's about patriotism in any official level. It's about having a noble desire and sincerity to serve, doing away with greed
. Since the time of democracy, we (igbos) have always had one of our own in the top political status, what have they been able to deliver using that limited time they had instead of stuffing their private accounts and building mansions in (heaven) where there's political competence.
Instead of saying "I hate biafra" but I'm igbo, you should say
"I hate our politicians, but I love Nigeria.

Tell me another story, you love Nigeria (the system) that is not working for its citizens. For your information, Nigeria is not the landmass but the people and their leaders. You hate politicians for winning elections but still love what constituencies they represent. This is a facade.

We don't hate Nigeria but let's separate by regions and then form alliance for some common defined benefits.

Sorry but you have been brainwashed to think a country can only separate through war. We want a peaceful separation so every country can quickly begin to harness their potential.
I will like to see a football match between Biafra and let's say Oodua republic a few months after separation.

The only reason i support it and i hope every igbo supports it for this is because igbos need economic independence from other regions. That dependence is hurting igboland.

What I meant by 'Nigeria' is the igbos, yorubas and hausas inclusive.
Remember the leaders were once ordinary citizens like you and I, so it boils down to one factor needed for the progress of the nation *patriotism*. Let's reason without sentiments, do you think nnamdi kanu is any better than obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan and other host of political leaders.?
Once there is selfish interest and greed in the heart of our leaders be it Nigeria or biafra, which ever nation they represent is bound to fail. So quit calling me names cos you don't know me.

Your inheritance and family investments are what is paramount to you and nothing else.

You don't continue building on a faulty foundation and expect a durable structure rather you pull it down from foundation and start again.

Nigeria has a faulty terrifying foundation and needs pulling down from the foundation for it to work.

Stop encouraging keeping a deformed structure that will one day devour the inhabitants.

Did Nnamdi Kalu initiate the agitation for Biafra? The present constitution is faulty to the core hence the failures.

You are trying to make this matter personal but I will not indulge you.
What structure are you talking about nne? You speak as if when you finally have your right to rule. Biafra will be shifted or moved from their soil to a different hemisphere entirely.
It's still the same faulty foundation. Let's assume the right of sovereignty is finally accorded, then what next?
Do you think arranging things ie putting things in place like making a different passport, having our igbo brothers all forces defect to ours, changing the uniform colours of all agencies, creating our own source of revenue other than oil, do you think those things can be achieved in a year or two? My dear it will take more than a decade before biafra becomes a sovereign functioning state.
Have you even thought of the land dispute that will ensue after the whole thing? Or you think every eastern cum southern state will agree to emerge as one?
Have you ever thought of the the internal war that will crop up in the midst of the biafrans.?
It is then you will begin to hear things like "nnamdi kanu is from Abia and he went to prison for biafra sake, therefore every core political appointment should be from Abia."
Anambra people will say "ojukwu and mbazuruike died for this course so every decision must be made from here.
Ebonyi people will start complaining about how they are stereotyped as a small state with less contributions to the National quota.
And so on and so forth.
Now while all these things are going own, don't you think Nigeria with the right leader will not be above us?
Remember, it's not about economic independent, it's about how to put the right policy in place to harness the available resources for the good of everyone.

How many decades did it take for Israel to become a developed State amid unending wars?

Your problems include denying the obvious incompatibility of different components of this country Nigeria. We have different beliefs, priorities and approach to solving problems hence no policy can neutralise these concepts.

The foundation is faulty to the core hence no remedy than going back to the bases.

So your fear is that it will take time to build Biafra up, it is just like a farmer who says no he will not plant because it takes a lot of time and energy and resources for the plantation to mature. Look weddon't have to go to the moon to set up our nation because Ikemba himself has done it already, the money he put in world bank for Biafra is still there, BTW , things happen in the zoo like this because of the zoo ways of life, which is different from that of Biafra.

The division you fear among biafrans only exist in your mind.
I have studied igbo history till the 19th century, no war have ever happened among igbo communities or between igbos and other minorities apart from minor problems that are quickly resolved.
I have worked in all parts of igboland, nobody want to know from which state I come from. They are only interested in what I can offer them.
All my sisters are married to other igbo from other states different from my own.
My igbo wife comes from a different state
I could go on.

You are deviating a little from the topic
OK let me summarise my points in an easily assimilating manner..
1.if at all the biafra thing becomes reality, it will take more years to fix and function than it will take to fix Nigeria if we stand and one with the right leader.
2. There's bound to be intra tribal crises that will arise which may stall the progress and which can be avoided if we stop this biafra agitation.
You are saying that there hasn't been any tribal rifts amongst igbos in history, well you need to go back to your history books.
So all in all, to avoid these things we need unity. That's all.

Someone seem to forget that "ECONOMIC" foundations is very different from "BUILDING" foundations that must be located in some land or river.

What is important here is that the naija economic foundation is faulty and can not carry much houses untop of it. Hence it needs to be pulled down for a firmer foundations the different houses/flats separated.

It is more like making an initial one house foundation( one NIgeria). But along the line, we found out that, that one house can not accommodate the different tribes that has been living in it ( diversity in culture, how to do things, how to solve problems and so many other things). So, it was decided to start adding houses ( different geo-ethnical / geo political zones) untop of that un strong foundation( more of many storey buildings) so that they can @least have peace or something.

So, a 5 storey blinding was erected on a foundation that was initially meant to carry a 1 storey building, (this 5 storey building represents the 6 geo political zones) while the 1 storey building represents Nigeria. And in the cause of time, it was discovered that that shaky 1 storey building foundation (Nigeria) can no longer carry the 5 storey is is currently carrying. Yet, the builders kept patching it in other to avoid collapse( it is not as if it will not collapse eventually, they are just buying time, but for how long and to what effect?).

It is now non negotiable that the building must collapse. But the question to be asked is this.

Should we allow the building to collapse on the inhabitants? ( there will be so much casualties and so much blood spill)

Or

Should we all vacate the building @ our own will so that the building will be brought down for a stronger foundation? ( that is if we must all still live in the same building)

Or should the building be brought down, and the land in which it was built on shared among the inhabitants so that they can build whatever type of house they want and manage it the way they feel that is best for their cultures and ways of life. And still remain neighbours or friends to others? In this case, which other inhabitants that still wants to live in the same building will come together, contribute their various resources and build the stronger house that they want.

Which will be better and which will bring a more lasting peace?.
