When I read comments emanating from this site, I feel so pained and perplexed. Is this the kind of youths that would steer the ship of Nigeria tomorrow? Some morons come here as early as 4 am some don't even sleep just to come and rain insults on fellow citizens or support those who has kept them the way they are. Some come here to agitate for an imaginary country which I have never seen any politician's children agitate for or any wealthy individual's child do same.

Here people insult the money paid for their school fees. No offense but when I see comments here, I feel education of many was a waste such money should have been used to buy land, train a dog or used for something more meaningful than train a child that would later constitute online nuisance or bask in foolery.

The problem is these unexamined online barbarians is that they are praised by fellow illiterates and thus, they feel they are doing the right thing.

Out of 10 comments only 1 will be reasonable. No wonder old politicians give no hoot about the youths. They ve weighed you guys and have seen that many of you still lack home training. You come here and pride yourself in tribalism. The question is which Nigerian politician pride himself in tribalism as you do? Tomorrow Orji Uzor Kalu will visit Babangida or Obiano will visit Buhari and many of you here still can't learn.

Help a youth today Nairaland. Leave sentiments aside political party, ethnic or religious affiliation any youth who comes here to show his mental illness, let him/her know it can be cured or they've done wrong than supporting them trough like and other means. I don't want to list out names but these people know they are foolish but they feel it's good cos some of you support them.

This is a faceless forum, therefore, anything goes. After all, a good number of us only come here to unwind. When a serious real life scenario pops up, Nairaland won't even be anywhere close to the priority list.

Youths of today lacks morales and proper upbringing due to bad characteristics in most parents. As of the issue of agitation for independent of their country, it's a natural thing and anybody is free to opt out from an unhealthy union. Why u won't find rich kids fighting for breakout from Nigeria is because majority of them are beneficiary from this wicked union. A country that care less for the zone that produces the wealth of the nation, a country that don't value patriotism, a country that practice bad belle politics and winner takes all system. Our system is so messed up Bro. Nothing works, at times u won't really blame them people are really frustrated. Compare this era to most of our parents who enjoyed life in the 1970s even in the 80's too, when things were easy and most people could afford to buy brand new vehicles, but what do we see these dsys; more of tokunbon vehicles are being sold. Me I am tired of complaining.

Bro that's d situation we find ourselves. We are not our brother's keeper in this country. The mind set of youth is soo messed up. Most of our cultures and traditions are affecting the way we run politics; very premitive. National orientation agency needs to rise up to their duties to reprogramme the brains and senses of our youths. As for our elders and leaders I doubt if they will ever change. For example using President Buhari for instance, he has a good mind to change the country but his inner most displeasure towards a section of this country and his unforgiving attitude is really complicating issues in Nigeria. If only he drops his pride and ego and have an all inclusive government I bet u, all these agitation of Biafra and Niger delta struggle will stop. An average Igbo just wants a comfortable life. The hate in our society is too much and as for me anybody believing these sets of Nigerian politicans is in for a long thing. I believe one day things will get better when we fully mature as a nation. I heard Italy was very bad those days but now that country is OK.

They pray sing,do all the stuff,come home from church,log in to Nairaland and start spewing their hatred and unfounded assumptions. How do you guys do it? Harbouring such contempt for your fellow humans,created by God how do you live with yourselves? If your Nairaland posts and other social media post were read to your church members, will you still be holding that position? If your Nairaland posts and other social media posts were read to your colleagues/ boss at work,will you still keep that job?
Well its a known fact that hypocrisy runs deep in the veins of an average religious person. Or is it because nobody knows your true identity? May God forgive us all.

The general consensus on this forum does not always reflect reality. On nairaland the only posters who support this administration are obviously paid while the majority of members believe the government is yet to take proper responsibility for its elected role. In real life especially whenever I board public transportation for whatever reason the general consensus is optimistic towards the incumbent administration; majority of average Nigerians believe all we should do is give the government time and they would fulfil all promises.
What point am I driving at? I'm saying a high percentage of the people ranting here are mostly silent in real life conversations and oftentimes have nothing beneficial to contribute -- this forum is faceless so they act however they feel, most times with the aim of invoking reactions from emotionally immature posters.

Why did the agitation become more pronounced after 2015 elections if it's genuine? And the worst is many of them do it online, insult whoever oppose them and support a particular political party. You want out of a country and you want the political party of that same country headed by the same tribe you hate how does that add up?

Ask any of them how to actualise their agitation and they tell you Hausa and Yoruba should let us go. And you wonder such illiteracy. These rich kids are even needed at the long run so also big politicians from that region if anything is going to come out of it. The same zone you claim produce the wealth, have they not been president, what did they do with the power? Don't they have Senators, rep members, Governors etc. What did they do with the money and agencies set up for them?

The truth is tribalism and hatred will no one any good. If you anyone into it here and offline, advice them.

President Buhari is a fine gentleman. He has his ways, yes, but there is no doubt that he has the best intention for ALL of Nigeria irrespective of tribe or cultural background. How do I know this? We worked closely with him in the past and his commitment to a Nigeria that "works" was never in doubt.

What do you call an "unforgiving attitude"? His refusal to bring the same people that have sought to destroy him throughout his foray into politics any closer than he ought to? You and I know that he either surrounds himself with allies this time or he gets destroyed a second time. The so-called agitation for Biafra---at this present time--- is a farce. It is a combination of ignorance, tribal hate and Nigerian politicians trying to cover their tracks of theft by destabilizing the Nation. For example, Mr.Fani-Kayode suddenly became a Biafran spokes person just to keep GEJ in power so he could continue stealing for himself and his orange teenage child-bride (and their new born baby). Mujahid Dokubo Asari was debriefed on his return from Libya (where he received terror[ist] training), and believe me when I tell you theres no love lost in his heart for the Ibo nation. Forget all the blustering and agitation he does now in the name of Biafra, to him its all an ends to a means. Look around Nigeria, does it look to you like God resides there? The Muslims in the North are fake, intolerant, and fanatical, the Christians in the East are also fake, intolerant and fanatical. Yea I understand u, but u can't speak for Buhari. He is a typical Fulani man and the Igbos know him for who he is. It will be very difficult to change their mind until they see a sincere effort on his part to accommodate everyone. For example those who propagate heat speeches here on Nairaland, might deceive a large number of people to secure elective position, but in their inner most mind they hate a particular region which will reflect in their policies and agenda. He can have a positive impact on the easterner minds by genuinely working to make things happen in their zones. As for Kayode he is a typical politican who is looking for relevance in terms system. My fear in politics of Nigeria is oppressive tendencies of our leaders. Look at out society, when one holds a position he/she make sure it's only people of their zone or tribe gets everything. It's until we as a citizen mature in our reasoning and becomes our brother keepers, that's the only way I can trust the system. Buhari govt is not helping matter. Ur work is to always tell him d truth to do what's right for peace to reign. As for d issues of development in the southern oil producing areas I said, my suggestion is for d federal government to single handedly develop those areas with support from the community and other well meaning Nigerians from other part of the country as it was being done in Abuja. And d task should never b given to the governors. Nepotism is still prevalent in our system. With that it's difficult for me to trust any of our present leaders. Their mind set have not changed

My stands is that with d collective help of other good Nigerians and d support of the communities, the federal government can then develop those areas. I believe one day a detribalized Nigeria will be in d helms of affairs that will ensure host communities of oil, hydro dam and other mineral resources are well taken care of. I don't really have any hope in this Buhari govt until his supporters tell him d truth. I have seen a lot of good northern people but Buhari not helping to solve d distrust amongst south easterners about northerners.

Thanks, English is not my mother tongue and if u don't see anything wrong with Buhari method of leadership well done. The issue of developmental decay in those regions was caused by then military government who were all tyrants. Since u are the only wise one in Nigeria please come up with positive solutions to our problems. Goodday! And I won't reply u either again
