Hello nairalanders, please i want to know if there is any side effects / consequences of using dvd usb port or rechargeable light usb port to charge your phone.

My mum charges her itel 1408 phone alot with our DVD. Yet to observe any negative effect on the phone or battery

Wow thatz good news to me, because to buy original charger for this kind wether na die ooooo.

Infact i use both DVD & DSTV HD DECODER to charge my phones. Like serious, ds is nt a joke

Hello sir, does it slow charge your phone?

Of course it charges phone but the battery will quickly drain, unlike when you use a charger

No wonder, its slow to charge and it drains very much faster.
I will never and ever use an inffinix phone again, their hot2 sucks because of the very poor battery life. So very poor battery. And worst of it all i can't find the spare batttery anywhere.
