These are not the best of times for poor girlfriends dating poor guys, because the economic hardship in Nigeria is making them to cheat just to have food to eat.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
Girls without jobs must survive and if their broke or jobless boyfriends cannot provide for them, they have to look for other avenues of making ends meet.
Guys with money and regular provisions are now the insurance for poor girlfriends.
And I don't blame them.

A girl told me she had nothing to eat in her residence and begged for food. And after eating, she just fell asleep and did not want to leave. I had to force her to leave. But I felt sorry for her.

Nigerians have never been through harsh times of this kind before.
Debtors cannot pay their debts.
How can jobless people in relationship survive?
The farmers have good harvest, but many people don't have money to buy foodstuffs in the market.

I feel more for the poor female students on campus.
Many of them depend on their boyfriends for their welfare.
