You should knw I can never fall for that. The word "tortured" in my comment's italicized which is for a reason the progressives will understand.

The old man is gone for good. The shame that his son Tompolo duped his community over 12 billion was too much for him to accept. His death threaten nothing. Life goes on in Niger Delta.

If the Army should start an onslaught against Niger Delta Militants it wont last more than three months before they will be wiped out though some civilians will be affected but thats war for you .FARC in colombia are genuine freedom fighter but militants in Niger Delta are thieves looking for money .

OP. I hope i wont get banned again at least i expressed my opinion in a soft manner

When we have tried all along to abolish third party arrest and arrest by proxy in Nigeria, here we have a situation where an elderly man was not only taken, but brutalised leading to his demise, for the alleged offence of his son, and our supposed enlightened youths are shouting "that serves him right".
I ve been against the militancy in the ND, cos I see the situation here as a fallout of a failed negotiation. However, I will never support the manhandling of a suspects relative just to get to him (or even to him), its clearly against the law.
We didn't learn from the BH case. And this tompolo's case was exactly was caused years of militancy in colombia especially that of the FARC, they are signing one peace deal after another but no end to the struggle.

Definitely there won't be peace from what I am seeing. So many faction springing up on daily bases. For the death of that old man, they will surely avenge. America have the most equipped force in the world but they are always open for dialogue. Buhari started this crises in disguise all in the name of fighting corruption. We have loosed more than we have gained. There are people you let be and that is Tompolo. He is loved by his people dearly no matter the crime. The university should be reinstated. Nigeria is playing with fire and mind you it might turn to regional war. The world is watching us.
I don't get your ideology. We want the economy re-energised. How can this be achieved with these sabotages? Are these people truly for their people or themselves? If you are from the Niger Delta region, why aren't you a part of them?
Why have over 95% of people from that region not resorted to same thing but remain law-abiding? What have representatives of the people from the region in government been doing, especially with the billions accruable to them annually. You must have been aware that over 200,000 barrels of crude are stolen in the region daily, over the past decade. Who keeps these monies and how are the monies been used to better the lots of the region's locals?
These are the fundamental questions. I am not trying to justify government actions or inactions, just putting things into right perspectives.

All these people above me saying nonsense.... like d man's life wasn't worht anything to tompolo or his family.. is disheartening... so if ur father should die...u would say same thing abihuh... Smh... i still wonder why nigeria army would pick on an old.man.. only to.fish out d son.. it means they are not professionals in.their field. . Truth be told...tompolo has been very calm... for me.. with what he owns... half of buhari's people.would.have gone to oblivion... me self love my dad no be small.... rretard army..... Harassing innocent citizens... why don't they go into the creaks and fish out these saboteurs? ...
A lot of people are senseless on NL. Sometimes you just read comments and move ahead with out joining issues with them because they will draw you down to their low level of thought and beat you to it because they are champions in stupidity.
Re: Death Of Tompolo’s Father Threatens Ceasefire In Niger Delta by Mrreed(m): 10:28am On Sep 16, 2016
forgive me for digressing, since no one claims to know this NDA group. it is very possible that this group is just a faceless group of mercenaries who are benefiting from the sentiments of the Niger deltans to cause damage to Nigeria's crude oil output which may inturn stabilize crude oil price in the international market. any foreign competitor can be this group since no one knows them. they are not just ordinary ijaw members, they are well trained and always execute their plan with perfection. to make matters worse, they set out a demand they knw the federal government will not agree to.
this is just my opinion

you just opened your mouth wide and vomit irresponsible comments.
let me say, "you don't have a responsible father" and if you do "I wish your father a brutal death". AMEN

Lol, a lot of people have thrown caution to the wind because of tribal, party and religious bigotry. No objectivity @ all in some people's comment. And without oil they will cry more than every other Nigerian.
