The North is the most backward region in Nigeria educationally, it's the worst economically and the worst in terms of local manufacturing base.

You speak of Agriculture, well breaking news! Nigeria imports her staple foods, and every other region produce theirs to support the imported ones. The North can't feed herself , as we speak we have IDP camps in North where people are starving and you are here talking trash,

Politics, well like I said earlier, they inherited the title of the Keepers of the colonial entity that is Nigeria.
They are just the chief servants of the Caucasian powers, and anytime they just take orders from above and are given minimal opportunity of carrying out local decisions, any time they attempted to question their orders from above, the consequences have always been acute and fatal, Mutala and Abacha as examples.
They are chief servants, that can hardly translate to real political power in internationally arena, and this is why Nigeria will continue to underachieve.

Military power? Lol, do the North manufacture any weapon? They only get "hand me down" weapons from the Caucasian powers sold to them at exorbitant prices, enough just to keep the colonial entity and slave camp intact as long as they keep taking the orders passed to them, they will continue getting them, if they attempt to stop taking orders, it ( weapon supplies) will be stopped and it's unity will be threatened by centrifugal forces within, causing the North to panic and go back to taking orders again.
Look at how the order to hand over Bakassi to Cameroon by Hague was carried out without objections. *grins*

It doesn't take much to see that the North so called power is artificial and not real, it's a reflection.

I listed what the North got up her sleeve that gave her the so called strength.

I wanted him to see clearly the deception of their so called strength.

Just take off any idea of Ndiigbo working with Yorubas off your mind,

Yorubas are tied to the North by Islam. Atleast 50% of them are Muslims, and there are also Yorubas that are Northerners themselves, whose allegiance is first and foremost to the seat of caliphate in Sokoto.

For Yorubas to support Nigeria disintegration will mean Yorubas giving up on those other Yorubas in the North, it will mean balkanization of Yorubaland. As the North won't give up those Northern Yorubalands, and worst still, most of those Northern Yorubas don't want to be separated from the North. They feel at home there.

Put yourself in Yoruba shoes and understand why when faced with option of Nigeria disintegration and Nigerian unity, the Yorubas will chose Nigerian unity 100/100.

You don't blame them for it, if in their shoes, I would do same, but you have to factor it in your equation if you intend breaking away from Nigeria, you will be strategically naive to be seeking for Yoruba support to do so, it will mean that you are asking them to divide their own lands.

Simple Northerners understand the power of a united front- What so many people fail to realize is that once it comes to National politics, the direction of the North is always a strong united direction. This makes them have their way all the time. Unlike in the south where infighting, backstabbing, envy, and so on go on. You will definitely agree with me that this is where the Northerners are ahead of the south despite the latter's claim of western enlightenment. A very good example is the recently concluded Ondo APC and PDP primaries. Not in the north where everyone sees the other as his brother irrespective of political affiliations.

Pls tell me if makarfi and sherrif are both northerners..
