I don't appreciate this idea of the presidency apportioning blame for every error and taking the glory for every success. That's a very poor leadership quality.

Buhari is now denying his own comment and intends to punish somebody else for the speech he made with his own mouth. That means he neither prepared nor went through the speech ab initio.
Truly this govt has two parts. Part one is their actions and part two is denial of their actions.

I pity this country, we are gone. If at this level of awareness a person deceive the public and yet cut corners to justify his falsehood and we see nothing wrong with that, then we are gone.

Obama wrote that speech..most likely said it off his heads.

Why can't buhari do the same? Why does it have to be written by a staff? I thought politicians write their manifesto and give it to editors to check for errors..

I am seriously ashamed of our leaders who can not deliver a simple speech without reading from a prepared speech..

We can as well say that they do not necessarily believe in what they feed us with but only interested in just telling us what we want to hear. Someone just prepare a speech , gives it to a whole president and he poured it to us without editing.... What a shame.
Until we have a president that reads wide ,we'll continue being a local champion undecided

The funny thing was that not long a go Trump's wife was on the news for similar incidence, one would think our presidency would double check their speech giving the fall out of the Mrs Trump's speech but no PMB does not learn from other people's mistakes.

By the way I remember in the budget several millions of naira was allocated for softwares for computers in the office of the presidency, from the look of things it seems they forgot to buy one used to check for plagiarism. There are a lot out there and they cost closed to nothing.
