Some tips to get rid of postpartum belly fat and get your flat tummy back...

PART 1
When you have a baby, it is completely normal that you put on some weight in your body or in your belly, so don’t feel bad when your body is simply following a natural process.

However, the earlier you start working on your postpartum body and belly, the easier it would be. This doesn’t mean that it is impossible to address as time goes on, but it is generally better to start early because the effort it would take to address it would be somewhat lesser.

Please note that all the information and tips and products are valid for CS deliveries and vaginal deliveries. However, with CS, you just need to be sure your stitches are healed and that there is little or no pain anymore.

If you are a woman who needs her belly warmed up and softened, don’t overlook the hot water compress; it works. Or you could use a hot water bag. (Please don’t get burned using very hot water. Use water that is more hot than warm but not too hot).

After you compress for about 20-30 minutes with a damp cloth (make sure you touch everywhere you are not comfortable with), then you can wrap up in your Abdominal Binder or postpartum belt for the next few hours in the day or overnight. You would probably need three rounds of hot water so that as one starts to cool off, you replace it. You would definitely see results whether it has only been a few weeks since your baby or even up to 5 years after your last baby.

Another way to get rid of postpartum belly fat is the traditional way we back our children. This is the secret of the village woman. She has no abdominal binder or postpartum belt. She doesn’t even know what these are. But she backs her baby every time to do her chores. That baby would be tied to her back for the next few months or so. But you see, her tying her baby on the back and tightly tying the front part of her belly to make sure the baby is firm enough is another compression opportunity we overlook.

But if you are a career woman or a business woman, get a post-partum belt or binder, but also try to tie your baby in the back if you can. It helps compress your tummy and also helps you and baby bond too. And when tying, try to tie correctly. After the top wrapper around your breast, also have another one that focuses on your belly too…in all, you would need at least two pieces of clothes.

Yes you still can cos the dosage will definitely be completed before 6 months at a 4week intervals.

Every mama should please take note that there are two types of Rota vaccine.

Rotarix(RV1) first dose should be taken between age 6week to 12 week and not later than 24 weeks 6days of age for the TWO SCHEDULES

Rotateq(RV5) first dose should be taken between age 6 weeks to 14 weeks and not later than 32 weeks of age for the THREE SCHEDULES.(my son took this one as its what my hospital has in stock when we took ours)

So if you plan on giving your baby the vaccine please do so before the weeks indicated and be sure to ask the health personal which form of the vaccine they have available that is the Rota of just two schedule or the Rota that is given thrice.

Finally it's an oral vaccine(dropped inside the mouth)Don't allow anybody inject your baby and say they have given them Rota o! though it's usually given along side other injectable vaccine its your right to ask the nurse the name of each vaccine as it's been given just to make sure(it's your babys life and your hard earned cash) so ASK.

No oh,I don't think I want to wait for them to stop on their own, have you taken you time to see how they look when sucking seriously? (dont mean to sound rude but Most of them look lost and dumb and its annoying).
The disadvantage outweighs the advantage so I must not relent oh.
My DH was indifferent about it before,but when he saw his friend's daughter sucking and looking annoying no be person tell am to join me in the fight.

Infact, the looks is really annoying. My baby own, Humm annoys me a lot. Sometimes, I feel like calling him one name like that

Though some mothers in the village start pap as early as 2months but that's due to ignorance. WHO says a child should be on bm or formula exclusively for the first 6months of life and American Paediatric Association says at least for the first 4months of life. So that's it

my boy had it too, very irritating thing especially when his hair use to fall out in chunks with his scalp(eeeewh),there was nothing I didn't do.well a woman later brought me some red flowers (Google red acalypha plant and see if its planted in your neighbourhood),I washed it and boiled,it was the water that I was using to bath him morning n night in less than 5 days,it disappeared(I couldn't believe it),then use coconut oil as the cream both on the hair ,allow the hair to dry before combing.

What will I do to this little man that wakes up to suck every minute @nite and refusing to sleep back except on my tummy? Almost one year now, he is still disturbing my sleep and is even worse now than before.

lolz....I gues we are on dsame boat. I tot dat by now vigilante would have reduced but rather it's increased.
I only get to slip around his 1st round of slip. as soon as he wakes up in d next 1 or 2 hrs, i bf him back 2 slip, but as 4 me, slip is off my eyes til day break.
I stil await d day he ll slip truout a whole night without waking up.

It's been puzzling me ever since that method was raised here the chaff that wasnt separated won't allow it thicken and even if you succeed won't it come our like kenke? That Ghana food that is eaten with pepper sauce and fried fish That's if it's corn you milled. i then wonder what millet that hardly thicken when sieved will turn out like with all the chaff left in. Success stories please share with us how you did it.

I have bought that powered Pap it didn't taste like Pap to me at all! Plus I didn't get that aroma peculiar to Pap. The powder felt more like custard to touch so I'm guessing it's custard and not Pap like they claim.

I am not using a govt hospital so have no idea if you have to book down first.
Where I use u just go with your baby on the day of immunization, you pay and get it. Though I've heard some hospitals ask mums to pay ahead in other to book it.

U prepare like custard, don't let it be watery when u make it into paste, meanwhile have u ever prepared wheat mill like custard or semo like before, if yes it is d same process u follow. Any grain made Into powder form must always come out like pap/custard when prepared

Note: The paste should not be watery, it should b a bit thickened.

Ma, u can sieve it if u don't want the chaff inside. Use that sieve they use in sieving Elubo (amala).

There is no powdered mill that I can't prepare as long as it's not watery from onset. Even custard can be watery when not prepared well, likewise the wet/watered pap.

Even dried starch is added to some. I guess there is starch inside custard self, not sure sha.

PCV is free in government facilities in Rivers, Rota is paid for and has to be on request

Just like that is it safe ok for his age not to have any milk at all? I use banana or pureed apple to sweeten his cereals without milk but I feel it's not sufficient

Today is the fourth day without a milk feed. Will be going to the hospital on Monday but I'd like to know if any mom has experienced this

Note he eats well any food I give him that doesn't have milk.

My babies want to do same too,so wat I do is spoon feed them,and I also add it to their meal

ok oo, i had 2 google d method and i found where it was stated dat d pap paste should b added to a boilin water and not d oda way round like normal pap.
I tried d method it later came out thick and pap like.

But d ish abt it is dat it wasnt gud 4 my lo, because as soon as d tin dy enter his mouth, na so he dy poo d tin dy comot. I had 2 stop feedin him n dscad d remainin.

Gues i ll hav to go bak 2 normal pap.
I ve jst wasted my time n efort 4 ntn.
