if he is going to stay in the house for at least a year and he likes d idea of tiles over carpet or rugs, its worth it. there's nothing there if you tile a house u would live in for some time.

what about cement , water if need be ...did u add d cost?

if you are getting tiles of good quality from spain, its between N2,700 & N3,500 (though you can get cheaper ones like chinese tiles or from UAE).
Your labour cost is between N300-N400
quantity of cement, tiles & sand is dependent of the area to be tiled.
also remember transportation of these materials to site is another cost on its own.

Get the area & exact figures will be tied to these costs.
