the thing is...repeating a class is kinda embarrassing, bt dat is gud in dat, it compels u to work harder dat u may not add another year n brings out de best in you. continuing with dat cgp will tk u a while to mk up for it. so it depends on ur abilities. bt personally I feel repeating will push u more. peace!!

it's better you do transfer in 200lvl to another department where you feel you can cope..
I'm sure you can now see for yourself that skolling is not easy especially public ones..

In my first year in FUTA during graduation they presented a guy with the most improved student award. He started from 0.84 and graduated with a 2:1.....good luck.

Make I yab myself small. Na d very day I collect my transcript na im I know wetin my GPA b. All through my study I no dey put ear for that thing wen dem dey call GPA.

please leave school and start a trade because the higher the level the lower the CGP am talking from experience.

You can still graduate with a good grade if you work harder. I was once in your shoe, but today I have 2.1

Had a CGP close to that in my first year and still made a 2.1.

You have to study very hard but remember only God's Grace will see you through.

wel its partly ur fault bkos u had 2 wait 4 admission list before u did any reading, its very dificult to av adequate preparation b4 exams wen u do nt av any, u av 2 continue and build on ur past failure, jst 4get d hope of havin a first class, 2.1 is very much possible only if u take d bull by d horn and motivate urself, wat stops u 4rm havin a 4.5~5.0cgp dis 200l and maintainin it til u graduate?

Yeah, in a school like Uniben. But in a school like OAU, I will advise him to start all over again if good grade like 1.1 or 2.1 is his priority. He has to be more than a genius to get 2.1 with that gp in 100level for a 4-year course in OAU especially if his course is science related.

And i had Uniben in mind while i was advicing him. Buh still, 2.1 is attainable

Ur late admission can be blamed for ur poor performance in first semester. How about the second semester? what happened there? Secondly, I think your foundation isn't strong enough, because 100level work is mostly just a little above o'level work. My argument is that how realistic is it for you to expect to blast B's in coming semesters if you don't have a solid foundation(o'level)? So, I'd advise you start all over again to avoid wasting your years. Just my opinion....I may be wrong though.

My advise is that you continue. You can still make a 2-1. But I advise you not to focus on that. Instead focus on understanding the course and knowing it. Most Nigerians focus on grades and leave the school Uneducated. Try to know what is taught, and the grades would follow. If the grade do not follow, you would still have something to use after school.

If you leave, what assurance do you have of getting admission? Even if you get, what assurance do you have that you would not leave with a 2-2? Use your present opportunity well

Once You give Up.. You've decided to Loose..
Your 100l CGPA prepares you for 200l...

For 200l, Neglect Baes around..
Write down what you want to have in every course..
Now, You'll read, read, read and read again..
Back everything up with God. I bet You'll make it with a 2.1

But don't forget to Focus and Read again.. Goodluck..

You don't need to condem yourself at all accepting failure means your a failure. So, don't give heed to that you can still graduatE witH first class if you so wish.

the Guy who graduated as the best student in my set " 1st klass" wasn't among the 1st 100 while we were in 100l, let me shock you he graduated as the only first klass in my faculty and the 2nd 1st klass after 26years. he was always studying @ a point people mock him, they nicknamed him library, libarian, professor and all but bro who is smiling now? he is.
so bro, you can still make a good grade but you have to be committed, discipline and extra focus.....
