My friend the school fees you paid don't determine your success in life. As far as I am concerned the best schools in this country are schools run by catholics.
Calling WAEC watery also showed your level of judgement. It is really sad. I have 3 kids in the university outside Nigeria doing medicine in Europe. WAEC still admits you to universities outside Nigeria even in USA. But in USA if you are going for scholarship you will also take SAT. Everywhere in Europe WAEC admits. I have friends that there children went to America International, but when they took SAT with my own Kids, mine gave them gap.

You are hiding away from the fact that you goofed and errred by stating that the school isn't rated by waec .This doesn't need you to bring in a completely irrelevant issue.I completely agree with you that the school fees you pay don't determine your success in life but educational research has proven that there's a significant increase in the chance of succeeding in life if you have quality education. Quality education and premium education don't come cheap anywhere in the world. I just don't want to encourage you on the path of hating on the school or parents who send their children to CIS. If you truly have your kids overseas, I want you to imagine the option of having those schools with same quality and accreditation body located in Nigeria but at a premium price. You may settle for the one in Nigeria.

I am sorry for making you upset. I just would have been happy if you have, at least, tried to find out why these schools are expensive before concluding that they offer WAEC curriculum.
I have a feeling that the devaluation of the naira didn't help the CIS school as most of their materials and regulatory services is paid for in foreign currency.

This school is a top flight premium school and they offer purely British curriculum and exams are paid for in pounds sterling.You must think schools like American International School take your watery WAEC too .Carry your Yeye waec rating elsewhere joor. bros, im my own experience, fellows that attended such schools don't perform significantly better than those that attended Catholic owned schools, jamb results would place everybody where they belong. i have a course mate from one such school in Abuja, she was hardly upto average in performance. my parish school had some Lebanese students from one such school and their performance was abysmal to say the least.

The truth is: most nigerians dont consider future in their spending...y not spend at least 200k on their fees and open a savings account for d kids,so they can feed on in case of unforseen emergency.

I commented here just because you called WAEC watery. That is all. In Nigeria today, about 99 percent of kids take WAEC and the other percent take SAT etc. You cannot call watery what about 99 percent of Nigeria kids do.These kids go on to become one of the best in universities both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. Parents with money can burn it the way they like. But that can never guaranty success.

I recently went searching for a good school for my nephew in Lekkiphase. Check out this outrageous prenursery school fees I came across. School: children's international school, Lekki

Prenursery school fees: 2.27m
This excludes non refundable acceptance fee of 2 million, Registration, school uniform, PTA. Etc.

Notice also secondary school fees for SS3 boarding house students is 6.158m. Excluding 2 million accdptance free and other cost..

Late payment of school fees attracts 10% interest rate
On outstanding fees..
Late payment is after 2weeks of resumption..

See your ignorance everywhere on your post because you are not humble enough to learn. You don't know and you are forming that you know makes you a danger to everyone around you. There are top schools in the category of those two schools and are even more expensive than those two schools. I am sure you don't know that is why you called those two schools Cambridge and Oxford.Stop contradicting yourself by saying that they are free and are the same. You're calling the school a scam because you're not rich enough to send your children there or your parents are not blessed enough financially to send you there.
Quit hating.British education is not like Nigeria education, they have more exams boards and the standard requirements and cost of registration and accreditation for each board varies, the expensive and premium boards ones are mostly patronized by the top independent schools, I am sure that at that fee CIS is charging, they will be on those premium elite exam board. It's then like bringing the top independent schools in the UK to Nigeria which caters to the need of expatriates, rich and wealthy Nigerians mostly resident in that part of the country. That is why CIS is not in your village or outskirt suburbs where people like you live
