The said debt Obj owed banks were hurriedly paid off by Atiku Abubakar cos it was found out that there was a clause in d electoral act wc said anybody who has been declared bankrupt(he could no longer service d loans) cannot contest for elections.
Another issue that could have led to his disqualification was when it was found out that Abdulsalam Abubakar gave him pardon orally over d coup issue but it was not gazzeted and he was still effectively an ex convict.
Alex Ekwueme was pleaded wt not to go on wt d wt d issue cos it would have plunged d nation into crises and d pardon was hurriedly gazzeted by midnight a day to his swearing in.

EFCC is the most corrupt agency in Nigeria, how can they freeze someone account because it contains millions of dollar and also threatening to arrest, for owning such money without any evidence of corrupt practices. Please someone should help me tell EFCC to come with evidence, or charge her to court, Nigerians are tired of all this childish games they are playing.
