What you Igbos dont know is that the ordinary masses dont care if igbos leave or stay. I can assure you that the average yoruba man wants the igbos to have their own country, whether that is borne out of hatred for the igbos is what i dont know.

As for the hausas, i think they want the igbos to stay and continue being subjugated while they (hausas) continue to enjoy the oil wealth of the east.

I know most minority tribes dont like the igbos so they dont care if they leave or stay. In all these mess, the most worried set of people are the elites accross all tribes who are scared that their pot of soup (Nigeria) is being threatened by this Biafra issue.

The igbos should not even hope of faring better because they are protesting or heating up the polity. Yoruba or Hausa will not shift for you in the power tussle because igbos cant compete politically so these protests wont help the plight of the igbos, rather, it will worsen it.

All i am trying to say in a nut shell is that nobody cares whether igbos leave or stay. The Igbos will do well to face their agitations and ensure biafra is achieved on the end but till then, igbo suffering continues in Nigeria.

...but you and some other Nigerians claimed that Igbos are noise makers...that they are not suffering...You see una life...na so somebody de take crass....

And how did Nigeria lose from ipob sitting at home today? I just want to know, you guys should please help me understand your perspective. You still have state government which is in under the "Nigerian" government and I'm sure it was business as usual for them. Pardon me I didn't do government in school, are your governments in support of your movement? Or you've not tried dialogue with them. What you need to ask for is autonomy. I think that'll be better.

Autonomy is for slaves and freedom for humans like someone said here. The Abuja errand boys you are talking about couldn't fill in empty markets today why? Because power belongs to the people and not potbelly Abuja Alhaji rankadede.

Those people you mentioned are they complaining that they didn't go to market or school? Why the care? What's wrong with this people? Had it been IPOB protested today on the streets they will shout they are forcing people to join the rally, now people have willingly showed solidarity you are still not satisfied with it, are you OK?

It baffles me that most of this northern and western politicians do not read our (nigerian)history and ignorantly forget to take a good look at our the map also.
They willfuly forget that the british did not force us to form an entity called nigeria.bt with the help of our elites there was a mutual consent that led to the amalgamation due to their selfish desires.
Offcuz the UN knows that our protest and declaration are base on solid 'grit' bt they dont want to rush things knowing that visiting the anti-biafra war will mar the dignity of the british people who took part in the 'greatest genocide ever perpetuated by a colonial master in africa.
They will also be brought before the European court of justice, and the world.
Forums are being held closed door in the UN security council concerning biafra and despite the obama and john kerry's administration forming ties with nigeria.dont be decieve, americans are not stupid, they can be very diplomatic to the last and they know the 'good guys'becos the next administration will carry out their thought.
For those who think they are born to rule us or who boast of their political prowess.you will be disappointed to hear this:BIAFRA WILL BE WON WITHOUT A SINGLE GUNSHOTS!!!.

Well, I am not sure what anyone else deduced from this sit at home protest. For me, it has just shown where the pendulum would swing if there is a referendum today. Good luck to all!! The message should be understood by the Federal Government of Nigeria to help them amend their ways.

Yes majority of yorubas hate the igbos but we have not done anything to frustrate igbos in Nigeria. If Yorubas decide to frustrate igbos, the heat will be so much, they will have to go back to the east.

Yorubas are actually nice to igbos notwithstanding the fact that we detest igbos.

Nigeria doesn't have to loose, that's the essence of this thread, while you are looking for where Nigeria will loose, ipob is passing a coded message of unity and loyalty in igboland.

Moving back to east is not a threat anymore, time has rebuilt igboland.
Those that are trapped outside igboland are those that invested after the war and their children/grandchildren, so sane igboman leaves his home anymore.

Thewrath:
The ipob under the leadership of nnamdi Kanu is very intelligent!

So I was just thinking out loud what possible effects the sit-at-home protest could pose and I came up with a few...

The protest:
While a lot of us witnessed the sit-at-home protest, others were busy doubting and spreading baseless propaganda.ipob made it clear that the sit-at-home peaceful protest was to cover Biafra land alone, and not the rest of Nigeria.
Well,to tell ourselves the truth, the protest was a success as a vast majority of the region and its people complied.

What the rest of Nigeria thinks:
As usual,to them it's one of those "morning exercise".Some hoped for a breakdown in law and order, while others thought it would be a bloodbath between ipob and Nigeria police, but to God be the glory,no lives were lost.

The message:
This is the most interesting part,if you study the protest very well, there is not much you can comprehend as to why ipob declared this sit-at-home protest other than to:
1)remind the rest of Nigeria about where the loyalty of the people lies.
2)remind Nigeria and the world at large that ndiigbo is united as against their usual propaganda that Igbos are not united.
3)that ndiigbo can be led by one and what they believe in.
4)that ipob and its leadership is still intact.

The majority speaks!!!!

So while you are busy looking for were Igbos flouted the sit-at-home protest, ipob is passing its message..

Ipob is intelligent!

Majority of yorubas dont care. Yorubas are so self absorbed in their own existence that they can hardly spare a thought for other tribes.

However, Yorubas are passively observing the whole scenario with the prism of the end game and their next move. Like i said in my earlier post, we dont hate anybody, we are just unfortunately an insular people who over cherish our culture.

As for the issue of romance with the north, we have always been better in opposition and we played it well. It is therefore funny when u speak like we cherish and revel in the fact that osinbajo is President. His position does not factor into our disposition to the current administration. In things continue the way they are till 2019, the Yoruba will find a suitable alternative to buhari notwithstanding our son being his vice. That is how sophisticated we are.

We wish igbos well with the biafra thingy.

Why do you yorubas keep deceiving yourselves with this sophisticated nonsense just because Buhari is now president?

What special thing did the yorubas do to make Buhari president?

Everyone knows that when it comes to politiocs the north are united unlike the south which always give them the advantage in presidential elections. All the north needs to get the presidency is just the support of omne region in the south.

What the yorubas did in 2015 by supporting Buhari to become president is just a replay of what the Igbos did years back when we sided Shagari and your rat-posion drinking god awolowo lost the elctions. You will not find Igbos running around like headless chickens shouting sophistication like what you deluded yorubas have been doing.

Hell the north needs just one region in the south; this is simple arithmetics. Once the north can secure the support of the SE or SS or SW then they have it already so why are yorubas feeling so special abeg
