And how did Nigeria lose from ipob sitting at home today? I just want to know, you guys should please help me understand your perspective. You still have state government which is in under the "Nigerian" government and I'm sure it was business as usual for them. Pardon me I didn't do government in school, are your governments in support of your movement? Or you've not tried dialogue with them. What you need to ask for is autonomy. I think that'll be better. 1 Like |

The NDA bombing I understand, the nation was losing but the only losers today are the kids that were deprived of their education and the vulcaniser that's needs to work everyday to eat, etc. I'm not insulting anybody, I'm just a young Nigerian trying to make meaning of what your biafra is all about. Believe me guys if you guys can project hope, even some afonjas will join your cause. Abi person no dey change citizenship again. Show us something other than shouting biafra. Project hope. Think Biafrans. #ProudlyYORUBA #ProudlyNigerian ProudlyHuman |

Had it been IPOB protested today on the streets they will shout they are forcing people to join the rally, now people have willingly showed solidarity you are still not satisfied with it, are you OK? 1 Like |

It baffles me that most of this northern and western politicians do not read our (nigerian)history and ignorantly forget to take a good look at our the map also. They willfuly forget that the british did not force us to form an entity called nigeria.bt with the help of our elites there was a mutual consent that led to the amalgamation due to their selfish desires. Offcuz the UN knows that our protest and declaration are base on solid 'grit' bt they dont want to rush things knowing that visiting the anti-biafra war will mar the dignity of the british people who took part in the 'greatest genocide ever perpetuated by a colonial master in africa. They will also be brought before the European court of justice, and the world. Forums are being held closed door in the UN security council concerning biafra and despite the obama and john kerry's administration forming ties with nigeria.dont be decieve, americans are not stupid, they can be very diplomatic to the last and they know the 'good guys'becos the next administration will carry out their thought. For those who think they are born to rule us or who boast of their political prowess.you will be disappointed to hear this:BIAFRA WILL BE WON WITHOUT A SINGLE GUNSHOTS!!!. Have a wonder sleep ahead. 2 Likes |

Well, I am not sure what anyone else deduced from this sit at home protest. For me, it has just shown where the pendulum would swing if there is a referendum today. Good luck to all!! The message should be understood by the Federal Government of Nigeria to help them amend their ways. 2 Likes |

giles14: Yes majority of yorubas hate the igbos but we have not done anything to frustrate igbos in Nigeria. If Yorubas decide to frustrate igbos, the heat will be so much, they will have to go back to the east. Yorubas are actually nice to igbos notwithstanding the fact that we detest igbos. |

Alcatraz003: Why do you yorubas keep deceiving yourselves with this sophisticated nonsense just because Buhari is now president? What special thing did the yorubas do to make Buhari president? Everyone knows that when it comes to politiocs the north are united unlike the south which always give them the advantage in presidential elections. All the north needs to get the presidency is just the support of omne region in the south. What the yorubas did in 2015 by supporting Buhari to become president is just a replay of what the Igbos did years back when we sided Shagari and your rat-posion drinking god awolowo lost the elctions. You will not find Igbos running around like headless chickens shouting sophistication like what you deluded yorubas have been doing. Hell the north needs just one region in the south; this is simple arithmetics. Once the north can secure the support of the SE or SS or SW then they have it already so why are yorubas feeling so special abeg |
