From the business angle the car is perfect. Fuel efficient, strong and reliable.

However uber customers are kind of "spoilt". They all want to take a ride in fancy cars for a cheap price .

Go ahead and use the car for uber.

However make sure the car is VERY neat and sharp. Paint it if the color is not good enough.

Make it look good all the time.

Make sure the AC is always pumping ice like a cold room. Then get a good driver. If you do this no problem.

Perfect answer from mrsage. I have this car on uber but it's super sharp. I bought it the same week uber announced a drop in entry requirement to 2006. I pulled out my 2011 Camry and replaced with the corolla.

funny enough, the driver's rating has even improved since he started with the 06 corolla. The last time I told him to drive the Camry for a week cos I needed the corolla for some runs, he even rejected it.


So if you have corolla 06 pls use it. Riders will soon get used to it. It's the ideal car for uberX fare rate in this recession.

Uber has removed the 100,000 km mileage restriction.
