Tragedy was recorded at Ajose street, Amukoko Apapa area of Lagos -after a primary school building collapsed -killing one person in the process. The building has since been sealed by officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency LASEMA.

There are so much architectural/structural lapses in the building from the second picture. You don't make a wall on a deckin part that has no support. It needs a pillar or wall under the deckin to support the wall up. The load must be balanced.

LAGOS IS BECOMING SOMETHING ELSE GOVT SHOULD TAKE URGENT STEPS FROM NOW ON. ON THOSE BUILDING ANY STRUCTURE THEY LIKE AND PUNISHMENT SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE GOVT OFFICIALS THAT WILL COLLECT BRIBE AND ALLOW THIS PEOPLE TO BE BUILDING RUBBISH TO KILL INNOCENT SOUL.

Pestilence, Tuberculosis, Cancer and other chronic diseases shall befall anyone either PDP/APC who benefits in short changing the Nigerian state.

The level of poverty in Amukoko is unimaginable. The schools there are very below standard. What other option do these people have other than to make do with what is available despite the very obvious risks involved.

It's a pity. SMH
