Ebonyi can increase salary even if the economy does't surge. Reason being that it has a good IGR. While other states were borrowing against oil price benchmark, Ebonyi made efforts to increase IGR. Osun state and the other heavily indebted states ought to learn here.

The increase is commendable But the salary before was peanut am in ebonyi state, infact am from ebonyi fine Engr Dave is doing well and the reason Ebonyi is not really affected by recession is because we are an agro based state and u will agree with me that people must eat na, and Engr Dave also has eyes on the bigger fish,as he is among the strongholds in pdp now...

Umahi doesn't go about spending scarce resources advertising or commissioning renovated primary schools like Aregbe does.
Umahi has done a lot of roads in 1 year already, you want to compare Aregbe to Umahi, go back to page 1 of this thread. He did the Enugu Abakiliki expressway that traversed through his state, a federal project plus internal roads.

He pays minimum wage and promptly too.
Ebonyi doesn't lack labor force at all, it's not anybody's fault that your corrupt governors overbloat your civil service with redundant and useless staff who become a burden to the state.
Aregbe that was paying Oyes memebers, graduates fpr that matter 10 000 ( pre tax )a month for doing nothing. Biko, don't let us start.
