Wrong. Tinubu remains a General in the APC, which is a party jointly controlled by the North and the West; he cannot be relegated with the support he enjoys from both regions.

In fact the Oyegun debacle has won Jagaban many new fans in the North as the injustice was too clear to see, and Tinubus wisdom and maturity in handling the issue was, like Jega, quite firm, effective and impressive.

A toxic character like Wike or Fayose would have handled the Oyegun situation so poorly that APC would have been in pieces by now instead of coming together as one family to celebrate their leader's book launch like they did yesterday.
