jon1:Wow what a bravo! U seem to be a learner in international politics. Hw many UN resolutions have USA and Israel violated? Lots! When USA and its allies invaded Iraq wasn't UN against it? what repercussion did they face from UN? Nothing, bcoz USA controls UN like its house maid; Likewise Nigerian in ECOWAS politics, so be rest assured Nigeria gonna go scot free. However, When Iraq attacked kuwait we are all living witness to what happened to them. |

President99:Because the USA is not a signatory to the Rome statute that established the ICJ. Not everyone is that gullible. Nigeria is a signatory to the ecowas statute hence, it's bound to obey. Countries now have limitations to their sovereignty. |

Lighthouseman:What I meant by that is, even UN is not superior to USA congress decision. USA has violated a lot of UN resolutions and nothing happened likewise Israel. No single sanction has ever be imposed on USA, bcoz USA determines UN enforcement. Ain't U aware the repercussion for violating a single UN resolution far outweighs that of ICJ ruling? USA invaded Iraq, but UN was against it and nothing happened bcoz USA is the major financier of UN. Nigeria too is a super power in ECOWAS politics n nothing WILL happen for violating ECOWAS court ruling. Who is ECOWAS without Nigeria? |

Dasuki is a criminal and he will remain in prison for a long time,if ecowas court is established to shield criminals, they should start with another country not Nigeria. How many people have they compared to pAy such damage in the past? Nonsense,we nigeria is not under the influence any forign rubbish. ehissi: |

President99:I said "study" but it's seeming arduousness makes you to yet tow this path. The U.S. is a member of the security council which consists of Britain, France,Russia and China as permanent members. When the U.S. says "we will act unilaterally", Britain and France are in tow. Iraq attacked Kuwait because Kuwait demanded it repays the $15billion it gave Saddam to prosecute a war against Iran. The U.S. and Kuwait sanctioned that war. Saddam refused to pay,Kuwait threatened Iraq's assets,Saddam moved against Kuwait without provocation or a nod from the U.S. Nigeria will pay or face ECOWAS sanctions. We do not have the military capability to bully ECOWAS. That's why Nigerian imports pay ECOWAS levy of 0.50% of CIF. If you do not want to pay, start NIGXIT! |

President99:1)You have Dasuki for his supposed crime in boko Haram ravage which isn't proved yet...but love Buhari who made sure the fight didn't succeed by playing politics with it and tribalizing it...what are you? 2)You hate Dasuki for love of northeast folks bedevilled by boko Haram but support APC who fought tooth and nail to make sure that America doesn't sell weapons to Nigeria under Jonathan...and fought against America designating them a terrorist group...So what are you ![]() 3)You hate Kanu for calling for weapons for his people to defend themselves; but love oba of lagos who committed same crime by calling for death of Kanu tribe...what are you? 4)You hate Kanu for his determination for freedom but love Dr ariyo, the Yoruba American based doctor who called for extermination of Igbo race...what are you? HYPOCRISY is killing you bro...good pm |

OK. #15m minus 2.1b dollars. Let him reimburse and set Free now. What was the so called ECOWAS did to save poor Nigerians from the jaw of book Haramic Dasuki and Jonathan, badeh,Minima and the rest of them. This is a ripped time to exit this useless Union called ECOWAS which can neither impact positive effects to our country nor saving it from mess. If UK can quits EU y not Nigeria quit the parasitic Union called ECOWAS? |

Money don dey interpret law for ECOWAS court. Should we pray that those who pronounced the judgement in favour of Mr. Dazuki should be visited by the departed souls who died as a result of (Dazuki) diverting money meant for the purchase of arms to fight insurgency in the North East(according to EFCC claims widely read on the dailies)? Nonsense |

AntiIPOB:Well! For now, whether Dasuki is a criminal is simply a matter of opinion.......why? Only a court of competent legal jurisdiction - and not the media - decides who is a criminal and who is not. As far as the document used to enforce law and order is concerned, dasuki is not a criminal........and if the federal government doesn't have anything to hide, then they should be eager to prove him a criminal in court..... And if what you say about the order of the ecowas court being of no effect on Nigeria; then why did the Nigerian government send legal representative to speak for it in that court...? This same sentiment of yours was brandished by Nigerians the last time we had a case at the ECOWAS court and today, Bakassi peninsula has been ceded to the Cammeroonians. The Irony of the matter is that the very document which we regard as a legal statute - The Nigerian Constitution - is Technically what the ECOWAS court is still trying to enforce on us.............and some Nigerians dey para for Nothing. Okay, if una no wan follow una own constitution, wetin una wan follow?? Holy Grail?? ![]() |

I laugh at the ignorance of some of these APC e rats up here. They claim to be political savvy but yet makes the dumbest comment regarding politics. Anyway, Nigeria is bound to do as the Ecowas court says. Your constitution does not matter in this situation as your government signed to be part and parcel of Ecowas thus una are bound to them. Ignoring their ruling would show the rest of the world leaders that indeed Nigeria is a lawless nation and thus would interfered with everything Including the loans una keep pathetically going all over the world begging as well as leaders willing to invest in the nation. But hey, do as you are known to do. Think that the world is as lawless as Nigeria therefore, you can ignore a ruling of a court una signed that you're part of. You'll immediately know wtf Zimbabwe went through. |
