Hello all. I had to create a new account for this just so I wont get laughed at. Ive been battling with body odour for about 2 years now. It has defied all physical measures such as hygiene and deodorants. Ive tried damn near all deodorants I can find in the store. Ive also tried things like lime, lemon, vinegar, baking soda and the likes. I dont even perspire much but when I put on any anti perspirant, I get smelly in no time without sweating. I think the culprit is my underarm but I shave all the time and wash up properly. I went to the hospital and took blood tests and everything came out normal‎.

I have decided to try traditional means such as iya alagbon and the likes as I hear some of them are very good. Please help recommend any solution apart from hygiene and shaving. Please I beg, this thing has put my life on a stand still as I cant mingle and move about freely without people rubbing their noses and making faces at me. It has made me suicidal. Who wouldve thought id end up with such issues?

Also please if u know any good traditional specialist in things like this, kindly let me know. Im in lagos.

Use an equal mixture of powdered charcoal and perfumed powder to rub everyday on your body.

Keep using it for at least one year to totally eradicate it

I will recommend you shave off all armpit hair and use any of the following deodorants: Sure spray, nivea roll-on, dove, rexona roll ons. Also buy a gud fragrance too and make sure you dont use your underwears more than once; single or t shirt or boxers and even socks before washing it. Even if they look neat dont re wear them again.

I think it may be ur diet. U said it started 2 years ago ryt? That means it wasn't always like this. Which could mean that there could be something you started eating 2years ago that has affected ur natural body scent.

As you said you have tried a lot of things with no luck you can try changing your diet Sometimes fatty foods, oils, or strong-smelling foods such as garlic, curry, and onions, can seep through your pores and cause body odor.

Try to detox. There are several ways you could get to detox. The Internet is there. My sister is a doctor and she once mentioned body odor could arise from not regularly detoxing. So try detoxing.

GET the soap, local sponge, palm oil and buy empson salt, grate the soda soap, add little water and mix it with the empson salt and put it inside the sun for like one hour. Use the palm oil to rub your body and then put the soda mixture on the local sponge to bath from head to toe. Do this 2 times weekly for a start and then once weekly. If your case isn't spiritual then the odor will go away fast.

My dear, ur best bet is 2 visit a dermatologist (Dr dat specialises in skin diseases).
Fact is, there's much detail 2 know b4 arriving @d cause. Even d nature of d smell itself is key, wc u may not be able 2 describe, no matter how hard u try.
However, I must admit they're very few in 9th.

The occurence of perspiration containing proteins which bacteria breaksdown, causes an odour, in addition to some secreted substances which come from food such as meat, garlic, onions, fish, etc. TO get rid of the odour, you'll need aloe vera liquid soap and aloe ever shield deodorant stick.

Do you have any solution for pimples and dark spot? I have used various cream and soap, also stuffs from all these skin care girls. Non worked.

Try using a strong antiseptic soap to shower,don't wear your clothes more than once a day,wash your clothes with izal and antiseptic soap too. Try this for sometime and see how it goes,its obviously a bacterial infection.

In addition to the good advice quoted above drink plenty of water. You're probably avoiding drinking plenty of water because you don't want to sweat. If so don't. Sweating isn't the problem - though this sounds counter intuitive- concentrated sweat is. If you drink plenty of water your sweat will not smell even if you sweated buckets. But don't overdo the water drinking or else you'll strain your kidneys. Armpit odor is almost always a mater of dehydration or adolescent hormone imbalance.

Never wear the same clothing and underwear twice. Also shave your armpits and make sure the wash ( armpit areas thoroughly) when doing your laundry. Also makes sire you drink about atleast 8 glasses of water per day

My guy Worry No more , your problem is solved. Not sure the area you are, but Decree deodorant , you can get it in Anthony vvillage or Ajao Estate. It's 1000naira. The culprit is you armpits. Right after shower just apply it. If that doesn't work no Agbo can help u. Change your diet , what you eat is important. Like me Penut Oil makes my sweat smell . But oyinbo Doctor tested my sweet and found out I was allergic to penuts. Pay attention to what u eat, but degree will give you temporarily protection.

you can't really get cured of body odor with drugs which your Doctor will prescribe,it can reduce it,but not really deal with it. It may have to do with many things. Your diet,hormonal imabalance,lifestyles etc.
