Not bad for a guy earning £30k (before taxes) every week.

I lost interest in furthering ahead in football when I went for a screening. The coach was suprised when he saw me play well in the defensive midfield role and as a central defender. I was aked to stay aside.

To cut the story short, someone else got my place because he brought a signed letter from a senator.

I see. All the best with your academics. The mistake that some great players like you who didn't proceed with football made is that they didn't get an education or learn a trade. I see many of them, broses in their 40's, and marvel. Thank God you got an education. Hopefully, you can transfer that zeal to your kids as I am definitely going to do.

For now, before I get my own boys by God's grace, I am looking for a talent under 20 that I can invest in.

If we can abandon all our local dialects and adopt the English Language as our official Language, we might as well be fluent in it. If we were in South-Africa where they've got 11 different official languages, it'd have been no issue. Well, I'm not always like this. In fact, I'm not like this at all! He made a non sensible comment and I tried to be sarcastic in return.

I'm from Akure, I speak my local Akure dialect and the normal everyday Yoruba. I'm proud of my language. Even I speak Yoruba better than English. You're a proud speaker of the Igbo language too, I guess!
