Opharhe: Which war? If I hear say they will even attempt to congregate in Ojota, to shout "we-no-go-grees" in between chopping shared rice and dancing to fuji music under the reign of Khalifar Buhari! Shiite treatment that they were hailing will be child's play after Buhari orders his butcher general Buruntai to reduce Lagos population of Yorubas. It is finished for them. They have nothing whatsoever they can use to leverage against the jihadist and their region is full of willing judases ready to sell their Treacherous services to buhari for less than what judas got. The Yoruba political leverage they got from playing respected opposition is long dead. Now they are the ridicule of the entire nation. 14 Likes 1 Share |

Shym3xx:pls stop engaging dis people. They are blinded with hate and tribal sentiment. In 2011 Yoruba voted massively for Jonathan. In 2015 Yoruba votes was divided BTW Jonathan and Buhari, but a larger vote went to Buhari. We simple voted for Buhari becos Jonathan FAILED. The yorubas don't own anybody any apology, tinubu problem is tinubu problem and not yorubas problem. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

FKO81: Well, son, I don't eat amala and the writer clearly stated that, "Stop selling your birthrights for a bowl of amala". And that means, it isn't applicable to me. Also, I'm a thorough bred from Yoruba royalty - a blue blooded Yoruba. So, none of the other nonsense is applicable to me. Anyway, did you enjoy the Fallujah bombardment from yesterday night? Shyte, I ain't got time for this today...one of the Igbo chics in harem just sent me a message that she's gonna pass through tonight. That's all I'm thinking about right now: how I'm gonna blow her back out and smash that Igbo pum to smithereens. Not some jobless Igbo faggits and faceless bottom feeders on the internet. BTW, do you know that Igbo chic, Uche Mba? Now, I wanna fvck that biitch. If you know her, tell her to holla at the Yoruba King Tut. Err, scratch that, I'm gonna find her myself and back that arse up for the mutombo. These are her pics: Darn!!! She's bad and she looks like money. |

orimsamsam: It wasn't as simple as that and you know it. You guys voted Jonathan out and chose a known hater of the SS/SE because you were not comfortable at seeing people from these regions at the helms of affairs in the central govt. You were also very jealous of developmental plans in the SS (The Akwa Ibom Thread here is testimony of your fellow yoruba jealousy which they couldn't contain). This was the main motivating factor and not if Jonathan was a failure or not. Or has Buhari not surpassed the lowest benchmark of failure this country has ever witnessed? You guys should stop with this Jonathan blame game because in no way will it help your cause to rebuild any bridges with the better south. Stop taking e touts like that irrelevant TonyeBarcanista seriously because down south here Jonathan is revered and respected. As things stand now, you are fcking on your own. Deal with your fulani conquerors while we deal with our own little problem of secceding out of Nigeria. 19 Likes |

APCLyingBastard:The war I'm talking about is not primarily of a physical nature. I mean they're going back to play the opposition they've always been known for... This is really a very difficult time for the Yorubas. And it pains me when I see them in this kind of situation. I live in the SW and identify with them to a large extent but I fully understand their predicament right now. They fear too much and only appear to flex muscle whenever they have a quarrel with fellow southerners (like the Igbo for example). We warned during the elections, sampled history, did all that but I was rebuked among my friends.... Na because Jonathan na ur broda nai make u dey talk like this. Honestly, there was nothing wrong in them aligning with whoever they wanted for their benefit, its all politics afterall the East have also aligned with the North 2wice before. My concern then was the intention and the terms... Also considering the fact that we had the opportunity to show these guys that the country belongs to us all. The candidate brought forward too represented all we wanted to stop- a feudalist establishment which was the real problem because I believe every Nigerian from any part of the country has the right to lead this country. But sh*t happened and here we are. They think they're smart but most times behave short sighted, failing to look at the bigger picture. Another annoying thing is the way they malign the Biafra thingy with so much vigor forgetting that they too are victims of the failed establishment. This is a really sad situation right now for them especially and the fight will be tough but if they put their acts together, recognize who the true enemy is and struggle with a strong resolve for emancipation(the rest of the South and partially the middle belt have a clear stand already)... We all will be better for it. And we shall bequeath something to be proud of to our Children either in a better structured and organised United country or in separate sovereignties. God help us. 11 Likes |

If this article was truely written by Bayo Oluwasanmi, I'm completely disappointed with his dual personality; for the bad names he is giving other public intellectuals of Yoruba stock. I'm not a fan of men who can't stand on what they believed. He and Pius Adesalmi, Sonala Olumhense were in forefront; the forerunner of this mess we are in today. Nothing they didn't write nor say about Goodluck, they blurred the gap between politics and private life for their personal amusement and the applause they got from Buhari e-warriors. Their attacks were strictly on his personality rather than issue at hands. They defeated Goodluck before the election. They were the dissidents voices of that era_they attacked people like Femi Aribisala, Fani Kayode, Okey Ndibe, Chido Onumah, Reuben Abati who tried to see ahead of time with their mild criticism. The ascension of Buhari sent them to cocoon_the jolly-go-round topic died down, they ceased from writing political opinion, even when the populations they claimed to represent are dying of hunger and suffering, they point their guns to the bush! I can't just believe it that this guy become a tongue twister in less than two years? I can't just believe it! 17 Likes 2 Shares
