These days, Etisalat is not the best as far as Internet connection is concerned in Nigeria. Try mtn today, try glo tomorrow and Airtel next tomorrow. Then come back to tell us your findings. I dropped Etisalat for mtn because I noticed that mtn is now faster than Etisalat, sometimes you have to disconnect and reconnect Etisalat before it starts browsing again. Now, I've dropped mtn for glo because glo now matches mtn Internet speed but with more than times two data bundle for the same amount.
Just migrate to glo bumpa before recharging your line with glo card N1000, you go get N2000 bonus to call all networks for 15 days which you can then use N100 card to extend it for another five days. And glo won't deduct your bonus while browsing unlike mtn BetaTalk. Glo is the best at the moment!

Here in Abuja GLO is sh¡t. Everybody complains about them. Etisalat is the most reliable (emphasis on the word 'reliable').

Mtn is also slow. Try using MTN for YouTube... you go regret.

Etisalat is the most expensive... but I'm thinking they wanna be like Verizon in America. The most expensive.People that are willing to pay for it will pay for it.

I've not touched the data since as I've been browsing via hotspot. Seeing this thread now, I decided to check my data balance and I saw a balance of 1024Mb. When other networks are competing with one another to provide cheaper bundles, etisalat decided to make theirs more expensive. To make things worse, we were not even communicated. Maybe the recession is biting hard on them, but making their plans more expensive is not the way to go. They will lose so many customers with this stupid decision they just made.

You guys have money to spend.

Imagine what Glo is offering. Just recently they improved their basic offerings with the 1000 and 2000 plan of 2gb and 6gb respectively to 3.2gb for 1000 and 7.5gb for 2000.

I'm cool with my 10gb for 2500. Yeah, I know their network ain't as fast as the others, but for what it's worth, I would choose its offering over any other especially in these perilous times.

At least I download with some night plans (Airtel) or over Wifi at work. And even with their network not being as fast as one should expect, I still stream live matches with it.

Anyway, you guys should enjoy the new offering from Etisalat.

I borrowed money on my sim, used the money. Called their cc and swear for dem den I flinged their sim away

I experienced the same short fall today, tried buying the 1.5g yesterday, but couldn't do so until today because of poor network, only to discover I was short-changed. No prior communication to that effect. Etisalat this not good enough. There is God o! Time to change network is now.

Since last week i noticed etisalat had slashed down the bonuses on airtime recharge.

The worst part to this increment of data os there was no prior warning/notification.

Dss please carry out sting operation against NCC.

make una stop d bickering over which network is the best. speaking about which network is the best is actually relative and must never be a generalization. in some areas, glo, mtn, etisalat, airtel may work so fine, in other areas 3 out of these networks may be crappy, and u are left with one network that could give u fast browsing speed. to the individual residing in that area, that particular network may be the best. it could be airtel, glo, mtn or etisalat.
as for me o, glo 3G nor dey work for ma area, so i'd rather buy 1.5gig for 1k with 1.5gig mtn bonus and enjoy high speed data tranfer instead of buying 3gig data for 1k from glo and wait for ages to download 30mb file.

With my GLO 12GB for #3000, i am monthly insured.
