Thank God government has reintroduced teaching of history in our schools, it may educate some of you on our cultural diversity and reduce the amount of IGNORANCE being peddled online.

This is not Zamfara or anywhere in Northern Nigeria. There is no where in the north where men tie a ring/bangle on their head.

No groom from Zamfara will wear anything less than a Babariga or khaftan on his wedding day.

This case, wherever it may have happened is so sickening. I have a little niece, who shockingly bears facial semblance with the child bride displayed in the post. I love that little girl with every breath in me. I can't imagine any father who would doom his child's destiny - sadly culture and religion has ratified this barbarism for such people. How sad. I pray peace and a means of escape for the poor soul.
