The asterisk usually means the occupation is flagged and on Pro-rata... This means, there are many applications for that particular occupation; so many that they have set a cut-off limit for invitation.. for Accountants, I think that is 70 points

Yes. Its a computer based exam. No human interference. You talk to the computer and get scored.

Hello all, I appreciate the good work you all doing on this forum. I am in a situation where i would need advise on what to do next. I recently applied for Victoria State Sponsorship for the second time and got rejected. Nominated occupation is Geologist (234411), Point 70. Want to ask what other route can I use to get state sponsorship since Geologist is under CSOL. Tasmania and Queensland both require either a family connection with the state or job offer which I dont have. With this its seems there isn't any other feasible options available.

Please I am new to this thread and I am interested in going to Australia, but my qualification is quiet diff from my working experience.

in assessing Accountants through CPA/CA, is IELTS general accepted? I can see on their website that they specifically stated it that they accept IELTS academic.

Kindly assist if someone can use IELTS general instead of the academic.

I have been watching and reading all a while on this thread.. I appreciate all contributors to d successfulness of d thead. but it's supprissing not seein not even a teacher applying on Australia pr. I have bn looking at a way to see a teacher that we can both run minds but all is about engineer , accountants etc. I beg here. advice on teaching

Hello Bellong, do you know any one that has had any positve assessment from vetassess for primary health organisation manager? Or has any one gotten a positve assessment in this group?

For all these mangerial positions, please what's the minimum years of experience required? Because vetassess is pretty tricky.

From the advisory report I received, they were silent about the work experience lenght even when I asked about that.

For the other person asking about other routes for Doctors, try schooling or travel and write the exams there because you will be able to observe their practice.

Also, vetassess differentiates clinic from hospital management from my research on expatforum.

I don't VETASSES have a minimum years of experience you must have for managerial position.

What they are after is ability to substantiate any claim and correlation of your occupation with the nominated occupation.
Years of experience only matter for points.

If your advisory report says you can apply, then you can apply. You only need to provide the documents advised in the report.

depends.. are you or are you not claiming work experience?

in other news.. been practicing PTE-A writing... averaging 300 words in 15 minutes for the essay part, so I guess my typing speed is not as much of a problem as I originally thought.
