Believing in a spirit spouse assumes spirit exist (assumes because so far you have all claimed you can't provide evidence of spirits), assumes they exist in a separate plane (which you also can't prove), assumes they can can leave this plane (but apparently only when their target is sleeping), assumes that once they leave they become physical and can now have sex with a person in this plane. You might notice the key theme here are assumptions, you can call it fact if you wish but fact requires actual evidence and proof.

This is in comparison to the sexomnia theory which is supported by observation, brain scans, psychological studies etc. Essentially the difference between actual science and pseudoscience.

You want to shift goalposts right? What manner of proof do you want? How does one prove personal experiences? How do you prove that you dream to a man who has never dreamt before?

That is the problem. Most of these things are based on heresay. I doubt if you know someone who has actually beem slapped spiritually.
