lemme chip in here, for university of Saskatchewan, more especially for Electrical and Computer Engineering, their MEng requires a supervisor but before then, you have to contact the department which they will mail you their pre-qualification form to fill and submit.onces you are assessed and considered, you ll be mailed/contacted to carry on the legitimate online application which is not yet 100% guarantee that you would be accepted but most atimes it a positive step forward that you may be considered.
what about Meng mechanical?do i need supervisor b4 i apply?

Good evening house, I am in search of University Admission for a student who just finished High School and wants to start his B.sc program in Cananda, he is a science student and is open to any course/school that will guarantee qichk admission and also also one which the consular will see as a course worth leaving Nigeria to study abroad.

Many thanks for you suggestions

Please I am asking this question because nothing can be compared to experience

Let him focus on a computer based course. Preferably software engineering, cyber-security, data analytics and algorithm.

Uottawa and Carleton have a joint program that makes a lot of sense in these areas. Take a look at them.

Hi guys,
pls what transcripts should be uploaded during online application?
Information from my uni says they only send transcripts directly to the school you are applying and not to the student.

Pls someone should kindly give me an insight. thanks

Depends on the school you are applying to, Uni of Manitoba will allow you upload an unofficial transcript (student transcript falls here) for the initial assessment if you r given admission, you would be required to send the official transcript to them directly from your university here in Nigeria.

U of Sask also allows you to upload an unofficial transcript for assessment, and you will later also need to send the official transcript from your uni too.

Some schools require that the official transcript be sent alongside other necessary documents that are required for your admissions process. Depends, go through the school website, the information you will need will be on the application for a particular programs page especially where you have the required documents section.

I hope this helps.

Good luck

Bros, how does the cumulative of 4.62 and 4.00 become 2.92? You are kidding, right?
Except you had like 2.0 in ur 400 first semester and 1.0 in ur 500 first semester. Abeg calculate dat tin well ooo
You said ur overall percentage was 71.7% that equates to 3.58 over a maximum obtainable 5.0
I no know where dat 2.92 dey come from

@ riddeek, God bless you. I actually lost hope of my canada dream after cic refused me last month. I think I am ready to refire. Good bye to PGD. Pls my cgpa is 74% and i'm interested in Msc biochemistry, which school can I apply to? This supervisor thing has been a big challenge 4 me.

Help a sister in need. Thanks
74% means you had around 3.7 over a maximum obtainable 5.0
I won't lie to you my sister, that is a "bit" low to get fully-funded research based masters.... But hey! Don't lose hope yet, dat doesn't mean some schs won't accept that.
You just have to check each school's requirements one by one you can check like 20 schs... Tedious you say? Nah! Its really worth it cuz you'll smile at last
I might have assisted you in ur search journey but i have my hands filled right now on personal "research".
A tip: don't forget to contact graduate secretaries (they usually reply back on an average of 2-3 working days) if their minimum requirements isn't indicated on the website or you can't find it.
And please don't start with the top schools like Toronto or McGill or British Columbia etc. You can start with MUN, windsor, ottawa, western etc. Just try to make Google ur boyfriend for now, trust me he won't break ur heart.

Go and pick your application documents and passport first but mail vfs to know if it has arrived so that you will not be stranded.

Can I ask you few questions?

What type of bank account statement did you submit, genuine or fake?

What is your health status like?

Who is your sponsor?

Did you pay your school fees?

Any study gap?

Believe in God as there is nothing God can't do.

Hi everyone
I'm new here and will like to find out somethings. I applied for my study visa and was called for medicals. My family applied for their accompanying visas around the time I applied for mine. The issue is last week, they were given their visas( till the expiry dates on their passports) but I'm yet to get mine. I should point out that in the letter of explanation, it was stated that they were accompanying me to help me settle down. I'm really worried as I I have not gotten mine. Is there a chance that my application would have been looked at before they were given? Thereby guaranteeing that I will get. I've had to defer my admission to January because I could not meet up with the fall term.
What do I do?

Since you were called for medical, you need to hope for the best. How did ur further medical test go? How did you resolve the fraudulent bank statement issue? It will end well.

@riddeek honestly i just don't understand how they calculate the percentage stuff... I only answer to the question been directed to me.

The graduate admin officer for the department I'm applying to replied me with the message bellow...

Passed on the last two years of study you meet the minimum grade point average. I have calculated your average for the last 2 years at 71.7%

Usually, the transcripts they are asking you for at the point of application is the unofficial transcript you can get yourself. The official sealed transcript may be requested after you are offered admission. That one will be sent directly from your school, not through you. Pls what school are you applying to?

There are 2 ways of Visa application to Canadian Embassy, one is Online, the other is Paper route. Any of them one is okay depending on your own location and situation.

TRV is Student Visa/permit , it is a type of Visa given for Study purposes. I guess that's the type of Visa u will definitely be applying for.
