"Aisha criticised her husband, the President told her to go to the kitchen".

That's why it's better to remain silent than talk sometimes. Just see what PMB's comments have cost him now sad

So like I earlier prayed, all the women in your life , including your daughters, would live their lives valuing a man's nutritional well being, and belonging to a man's kitchen, living room and "other room". Amen!

I wonder what makes some aszholes here think they are MEN.

Obviously, you cavemen are not men but mme ee (like osuofia would say).

Real men understand that humanity stands to benefit more from empowering the females along with their male counterparts, and not by restricting them to the kitchen and " the other room".

I still believe he will draw rabbits out of hats, if given another chance in "2015".

Never again should Nigerians overlook credentials, antecedents and apt deceit for promises.

As for now he remains Mr. President and I won't condone unacceptable remarks about him but will love to point towards the following:

In Buhari's composure,

Who is Aisha when he had proclaimed Nigerians thieves before the world.

Who is Aisha when the rights to equity and education was deprived the mean man who just needs to buy time with a masters degree abroad while awaiting the promised Jobs. "Those who can afford the dollar can afford it".

Who is Aisha when the integrity of the Judiciary in Nigeria has been dented following the actions of the Presidency in the ill lite of fighting corruption?

Who is Aisha when the the legislative arm has been dealt the same blow?

Women should see this as a wake up call, an affront to their rights to expression regardless of what circumstances one finds herself in. Her words were not properly guided but one could see to what extent her feeling were betrayed.

You don't touch a vipers tail and not expect the kiss of death.

No matter the side you find yourself, Aisha didn't do well with the interview. The interview exposed a lot about her person and she has made a real mistake. Buhari has not lived up to expectations, in fact , he has failed but the wife is not the best person to point this out in public.
Buhari saying she belongs to the kitchen is really terrible and shows the amount of respect he has for her and probably women in general.
Aisha no try at all.

See, I have more morbid hate for Buhari's supporters than Buhari himself.

If I had one bullet and the option to choose between shooting Buhari and a Buharist, I would shoot the Buharist and give Buhari a garland.

These Buharists should be given the Nazi gas chamber treatment. They are the #1 enemies of Nigeria.

Imagine someone saying Buhari should bend the rules to detain judges indefinitely, and that Nigeria need tyrants? When the same Buhari came in through democracy. If he wanted to be a tyrant, he should have played the script perfectly by overthrowing GEJ. Not crossing the Bridge to Aso Rock on the plank of democracy, only to destroy the plank because it doesn't fit the narrative.

Buharists are people that could commit genocide for Buhari (case in point--the Shiites and IPOB). They have no problem with killing off an entire ethnicity because of the man and their pre-historic beliefs (case in point--their clamors during the start of the ND revolt).

These people are savage beasts that do not deserve a place in the living. Secretly they're praying that Buhari does what Erdogan is currently doing.

My opinion on the President remain unequivocal.
His unnecessarily delayed ministerial appointments in the face of inherited economic and security crisis gave him away as one who is either out to play politics or as one who has made himself available for the promotion of certain parochial interests.
What's worse? His nepotistic tendencies hasn't made it easier for some of us (Christians, from the SS) that still strive to defend him...against all odds.

And did the subject under discourse at the time of the interview have anything to do with nutritional well-being that he had to come up with that retarded response? Who asked him to explain his wife's position in his house? Did he even have to respond?

Each interview is judged on its own merit. Whatever opinions she aired publicly are not reasons to excuse this disgusting statement by the president. It wasn't even in line with the subject matter of politics which Aisha confined herself to but actually a calculated attempt to tell her that she has inferior knowledge simply because she's a woman and she had better confine herself to the kitchen, living room and the other room.

when he called Nigerians criminals, some people clapped;
when he called some Nigerians 5%ers, they applauded;
when he labeled the bread winners of Nigeria irritants, they readily concurred;
now he has put the 'women' in their place, some people are now grumbling...
why grumbling? didn't we see it coming?

From this interview one can deduce that Aisha is fed up inside the house talking to Buhari.
Buhari has a penchant for not listening to people who he considers inferior and that's what his kitchen comment has portrayed Aisha to be.

Aisha must have talked herself hoarse inside the house and Buhari will just give her his bad ear which nothing penetrates before she came out to voice her frustration.

When we were shouting that Buhari was inflexible, empty, arrogant, poorly educated, lacked finesse, decorum and tact people termed us TANoids, then Wailers and finally IPOB yoots.

Ok nah, oya kontinue enjoying the brand new......

So love your comment here. Just the naked truth. Hes totally deviated from the real values and ideals that spurred us to support his run for the hot seat. Im so disappointed in him. Old man fall hands no be small sad

EdCure:
Just a few months into his well-celebrated reentry into power, President Buhari has become grossly indefencible.
I never wished to be proven right when I earlier opined that this man has a different agenda from the ideals that inspired some of us to campaign for him.

The more things change, the more they remain the same.
