Akshow:
And we wonder why we are backward. In 2016, people still think an exotic bird like an owl is a witch. When will Nigerians get brain? When will Nigerians stop disgracing themselves with silly spirikoko shenanigans. Rubbish

If we tolerate the idiots who brand their children 'witches' and then banish them then why should we be surprised that there are people who stupidly think that an owl is a 'witch'.

Anything that these idiots do not understand (or like) will be given a 'spiritual' title so as to justify their frightened and abusive reaction.

The prevalence of religion in Nigeria is a major scourge that needs to be tackled. We cannot keep providing a safe space for irrational thoughts and actions and then get angry when things like this happen.

Smdh. Poor owl. What a way to meet its untimely end. It's 2016 but Nigerians still choose to be ignorant and barbaric.

This is animal cruelty. Come and try that in Canada and see the big trouble you will find yourself in.
