Actually, it's not completely a bad idea. Look at it this way, a poor but neat person can dress up in a torn shirt or pants and say.. "hey, I'm putting on a pair of Yeezys" and he won't suffer discrimination.
I think the idea behind this is to banish class segregation and the mindset of being addressed as you are dressed. Nobody can ever look down on Kanye because he's putting on tattered clothes.
