The earth can certainly accommodate more people than it does today, and our population growth will surely go down as more people become educated and start using contraceptives. Global warming will cause enormous problems especially in islands and coastal regions, forcing many people to move to high altitude areas, but it won't threaten our survival. After a very very long time we might run out of land after wiping out nature and filling every inch of land with skyscrapers. At this point, rich people will start moving, but not to Mars. Instead, they will move into gigantic nuclear-powered floating islands.

I strongly believe in extra terrestrial. It will be an insult to mathematics and a pure waste of vast resources if we are one in this gigantic universe. But that's just my personal belief. No proofs yet.
