Yes, am gone do a back up. Am still looking for an external HD to do that, but since I was running it on a virtual box, it doesn't have to affect my. Primary OS(window 7), else, it will be a disaster, because I have Microsoft SQL server 2012 running there, with lots of queries, and data, that I cannot afford to lose, as well as the installation and configuration of the MS SQL 2012 , a friend of mind in US did the installation and configuration on my sys remotely unsing (Team viewer ). So if this so called "ubuntu " which I like to explore, will cost me that... I think I gotta ball.... .
And conversely, even if I should back up my files, and "lubuntu or xubuntu, or unbuntu " now eventually do that to my sys, and Am gonna have to go through the rigour of "begging " my friend to do it remotely again. He will definitely kill me....Lolzzzz,

One more Thing, After unbuntu, I will still have a date with Kali, cos of its security feature, but I was made to know that, ubuntu also has some security Apps one can download, so there won't be any need for the "kali"
@ whytelon, you are u using kali!!!! What's your experience and every one else who come across kali.

Kali linux runs back track 5 IIRC..but this is a while back running it on VMWare Fusion...
