Hi guys , have you tried uploading a file on wordpress , perhaps mp3 or mp4 and you get an error saying “Exceeds the upload maximum size ”

Here is a quick solution if you are on ubunbu or on a similar linux distribution

What you need to do is to simply edit your php.ini file


1 .open your terminal and type in

$ sudo nano /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini



2. look for the following and edit them accordingly’

max_execution_time = 150

post_max_size = 20MB;

upload_max_filesize = 20MB



the do a

[color=#000000]

$  sudo service apache2 restart
