But the NA once downplayed this news as if nothing of such happened so why are they contradicting themselves on the missing soldiers?

The other day some soldiers were complaining of not having enough food but I hope they've not been massacred by BH or gone AWOL on the battlefront.

But from all indications the military top brass seems to be messing up their own operations by cover-ups and lies.

They gave their lives in service to country- we appreciate their sacrifice.

I hope the enemies of this country would be happy with this since they've been posting things like "I feel so excited whenever I hear a Nigerian soldier is killed by Boko Haram".

May their souls rest in peace- amen.

Are they dead? Did you kill them? They are missing and you are telling them to "rest in peace". We are hopeful they should be found and you are here wishing them death!
Too bad.

Too bad.

Who knows, he may be part of the Bokos, or shares same religious objective with the Bokos for a territory or country Nigeria to be governed through Islamic sharia criminal laws?

Hundreds of thousands have been killed in Iraq, thousands killed in Afghanistan, all because Islamic extremist groups exactly like Boko Haram have been fighting to impose Islamic sharia criminal justice system upon those countries.

It's the same sharia criminal justice system which twelve northern Nigeria states unilaterally adopted, and for which Boko Haram is fighting to wipe out residual opposition to it in Nigeria.

Why are these security operatives are forever and ever inconsistent and also forever lying. What you boldly said, you now deny not giving figure of how many people missing, i will take it you said 100 able bodied soldiers were missing and not 83 and why 39? You people are quick to go to the press the when you are not sure only to come back to fool yourselves. Your institution is tension based so think and take time before you go public and also don't give figure at your first report. May you find the rest of them. Public Relation is not about lying but good image making.
