I don't think there's an official way of dealing with that yet, but if the worst happens, Remove it immediately and dry it. Using a heat blower or something.

Ensure phone is switched off and wipe off any excess moisture from the phone!

Pls dont ever deep a phone with it batery in a rice e.g none removevable devices. The batery has acid that is very dangerous for health, bcs the rice is going to absorb the liquid.

I did it when my iPhone 6 fell into the toilet
