Governor of Kano State Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR led the Kano State APC leadership to a 3 day unprecedented political retreat for party officials and stakeholders in Sokoto State to educate party leaders on political party management.

The event which was declared open yesterday by the National Chairman of APC Chief Oyegun had in attendance all the stakeholders and party excos from Kano state led by the Kano State APC Chairman Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas and other national party leaders who accompanied the national chairman of APC while Sokoto State governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal gave the keynote address.

There were also papers presented by renowned political professors, Prof Sule Abdullahi Kano who spoke on Political Party Leadership in Economic Recession and Prof Haruna Wakili spoke on the role of Political Party in Balancing Between Policies and Aspirations of the electorate. Other papers are expected to be delivered today as the retreat continues.
