In Economics, one of the sources of raising business capital is by borrowing from friends and relatives. You may have business ideas but do not have money to execut it. Your friend or relative may have money but do not know where to invest it on. If you approach your friend and he buys into your idea, he will give you the money for the business. Now, if your friend or relative gives you the money, are you going to deposit the money in your friend's account name? Have you not heard about people who give out money to others and remain as dormant partners?
