A man can get married to 20 wives, put them in his matrimonial home, living fine with all the wives. But a woman can't boastfully talk of getting married to 2-3 men.

A woman should always respect her dig nity.

Well, ask Sarah the wife of Abraham or the wives of King Solomon one day in heaven. Or the wives of early Muslim leaders. Depending on your faith. grin

On a more serious note, a cheating wife can murder her husband easily. Her lover can convince her to do so, so that both can take over your house/property. Because hardly any serious/prosperous man can leave all the young beautiful girls out there and go after a mother of 4 like in this case.

Whereas men easily separate love from a fling with another girl. Not saying it is right either.

Though it would be rather foolish having a side chick in this recession. grin

In recent years due to social media platforms, men are now learners in the department of cheating. Some ladies married/single now earn far more money from their online boyfriends than serious employees.

All in all, humans (men & women) just sometimes do what is potentially scandalous. Just for the thrill or material benefit.
