Many politicians will not have the audacity to touch structures owned by a multinational company. Kudos to those making Lagos state work

All of you saying good and kudos...

Would you have said so if it were your own property being destroyed with little or no compensation...

What if these were illegal structures?... We need investment but does that necessarily mean we must be lawless or follow no rules?... Must we be sentimental about everything?.. If the structures aren't illegal, they would surely be compensated, at least unlike the common man who can and may be oppressed and cheated, do you really think larger firms can be trampled upon?

If you build on road setback, be ready to face the consequences.

If unscrupulous land sellers sold the land to you, the responsibility to ascertain the proper road setback from the ministry of works and lands is on you.

No need of sentiments.

These MNCs can't try all these nonsense in their home countries or other developed climes.

BTW, this is Lagos, sentiments don't get things done there.

Just like I said earlier, it is sheer waste of time trying to have these folks reason like normal functional human beings. It is just impossible.

It was a befitting sight and added beauty to the green area around it.. Tinubu saw it/ fashola saw it.... Well too bad ambode could not see it.. I saw it too.

I always longed to see them whenever i pass right from the 90's..

It's it only by demolishing thing dat u show ure working in Lagos? Even beffiting structures. These structure are not on d road path nt on d setbacks and where beautifully placed and organized, I'm sure they brought on revenue for d govt.

so now u destroy everything to show ure working... Wats next U leave the setback bare Plant useless flowers on it Allow area boys/miscreants to come and inhabit them Untill I know d purpose and use of dis demolition I hv no praises for anyone. Period!!!

why should they have to build on a space that is not meant for building any structure...the lagos state government knows what they want to do with the space, you can go and ask them.
the lagos masterplan will be followed strictly

It wasn't a full structured building more of and open structure. Bt then lest wait and see wat their "master plan" is then one can criticize properly cos it Wsnt stated bt I saw nothing wrong with dat structure. Also I hp their master plan includes drainages? Smtn clearly lacking on d island
