Nigga you're crazy cheesy

OP open the back cover (if it has) and immerse the phone into bag of rice or a bag of silicon..

Ensure phone is switched off and wipe off any excess moisture from the phone!

U are absolutely correct.

My Infinix hot note was covered covered with water for about 5 minutes, I just removed it, dry it up with a fan as no other means available, I inserted my charger back and I am still using it till today.

This was really helpful lol. he said bring it out and wait for it to DIE, undecided undecided

henryobinna:
if it's a water resistant phone like the galaxy s7 edge, you bring it out and continue using. But if its not water resistant like some of infinix phones, you bring it out and wait for it to die

I want to believe silicon gel and rice will work too. Most of these devices that have sealed battery have their battery covered with water resistant like tarpaulin. I used a BB Q5 once and I saw that in it
Re: What Do You Do When Your Phone With A Non Removable Battery Falls Into Water?? by Fgollado: 5:04am On Nov 02, 2016
why do they have to call it condom pouch tho..lol
rottenPussy:
Ever heard of condom pouch?

it's rubber like and covers the whole body of the phone making it water resistant to some extent.

Aside that, I don't see any option than to avoid it falling into water..
Re: What Do You Do When Your Phone With A Non Removable Battery Falls Into Water?? by Fgollado: 5:07am On Nov 02, 2016

ewww disgusting..lmao that ur cousin wicked abeg
modsRbastard:

Seriously... How's Google gonna answer question of what happened to your rice.

This reminds me one time, back in school; some dudes visited my cousin(female) cos they're a crew and they felt overly comfortable that they made Eba in a bowl she use as potty. You know how girls don't use potty cos they think it's embarrassing and don't use the WC directly for fear of toilet disease which seems expensive treating on campus. My cousin enter, see them dey hustle Eba for her potty bowl, niggas even dey ask her if na Gari Ijebu grin. My cousin just lock up.
This is why I don't use women stuff without asking.

hmm so the rice actually works?? i thought y'all was joking sha
greenhulk:

Putting the phone in rice or silica gel for several hours can dry the water inside, there's no guarantee ur phone would be back to life but u have a great chance. And water inside the moderboard can still damage the phone even while it is powered off. Rice woukd still help to dry some if not all of the water before taking it to a technician.
Re: What Do You Do When Your Phone With A Non Removable Battery Falls Into Water?? by Fgollado: 5:20am On Nov 02, 2016
okay
Behankey:
I don't think there's an official way of dealing with that yet, but if the worst happens, Remove it immediately and dry it. Using a heat blower or something.

so what is in rice that helps it get better
supersonic1:
Happened to my iphone 5 of recent then i remembered an article i read about putting it in a bowl of covered rice for 24hrs or more. And it worked for me thereafter like nothing happnd to it. At first it went blank, stopped charging, and started going dim but with that method i was the happiest guy that day.
