According to a social media user who shared the photos/story yesterday,the man pictured above was nearly beaten to death by youths after stealing aluminium in Umuaka,Imo state.Below is what she wrote....

'An unidentified man almost met his untimely death at Umuaka, Njaba Local Government Area of Imo State after he was caught on Tuesday night, within Umudim Ofekaka Orodo for looting a house filled with aluminum. According to eyewitnesses, youths of the area almost lynched him before the arrival of the police officers, who controlled the crowd and whisked the robber away.'

I dont support robbery/buglary atleast I've also fallen victim to them but there is a medical condition that makes some people to steal just like John Terry's mother did in London, not to talk of today's Nigeria were hungry and hopeless masses are dying of hunger. They should have simply handed him over to the police instead of visiting their frustration on the poor theif who was not even armed.

We apply jungle justice since the law enforcement agencies choose to be very very unreliable and untrustworthy. If you're not comfortable with that then don't ever get caught in this jungle. That's how we roll here.
